Every day, students around the world attend Mathnasium learning centers to boost their math skills. We are highly specialized; we teach only math. Members usually attend two or three times a week for about an hour.

Our goal is to significantly increase your child’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject.

Children don’t hate math.

They hate being confused and intimidated by math.

With understanding comes passion.

Meet the Business Owner

Tricia F.

Business Owner

Tricia started her career working with special needs children in 2001. In 2004 she began teaching English at the middle school level and later she taught at the high school level.

In 2008 she moved into high school administration after receiving her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administrative Credential.

Her experience in education made her realize the importance effective mathematics education, especially the great need for mathematics remediation. During her career as a teacher, Tricia spent time as a Home Hospital teacher serving students who were not able to attend school. She discovered many of the students were at least one year but in most cases two or three years behind in math. Most of the time, these students lacked basic skills in fractions, multiplication, decimals, and an understanding of number sense as is taught at Mathnasium. Over and over in her career, she would see students struggle more with math than any other subject.
