Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

Donna and Kieth were amazing. They helped me through the whole process. I even had my little baby with me and they made it so I could stay in my car while we did the quote for the work. When I actually dropped off the car, they finished quickly so I could get my car back. They did a great job with both repairing my window and painting my car. Everyone there treated me very nicely and the price for the work was very good. I had quotes at a few other places and they were by far the cheapest. I was very pleased with my experience. Thank you!

Worst customer service ever!!! I got Donna on the phone and was asking her questions and when she felt as though she no longer wanted to talk to me or do the work I was asking about she hung up on me what a rude b***h. I called back thinking maybe cause I was on my cell phone we got cut off heck no she was even worse when she found out it was me :-(

My co-​worker referred me to them. She told me they were really affordable and how great they painted her car (she had it some over a year ago). So with this in mind, I went to Maaco and after the sales rep inspected my 98′ Honda Civic coupe, he quoted me for $ 1,850 (mind you my car is not even worth that much). Ridiculous. Also, I had told him that I would be getting new bumpers for the front and the back so really they did not have to sand those two large areas, but the driver and passenger side did have a dent and they were going to have to fix that but for almost 2,000?!
The interesting thing is that now they have finance options such as, you guess it right– a Meineke/​Maaco credit card.
And, they no longer have the $ 299 deal that they had been advertising for the last couple of years. Instead, they are now offering «better» paint starting at just $ 499. Coincidence? I knew I was going to have to pay a little more than just $ 299 for my car’s paint job, but $ 1850?
Obviously I declined the gentleman’s offer and told him I would go somewhere else.
Oh, but here’s the kicker. Two weeks after I went to get the estimate, I got a call from someone at Maaco and left me a voicemail saying, «I reviewed your quote and if you are still interested we can do your car for 1,600.» Thanks? I GUESS, but I’m still not interested.

Brought car back for over spray on rims and dirt in the paint andother issues. Took them over a week to do warranty and it still had the same issues. They told us this is as good as they could do for the paint job we got. Never coming back and never recommending it.

Home on leave figured now was a good chance to drop my car off and get some minor cosmetic work done. Dropped my car off February 26^th was told it would be done by March 1^st. Its now the 5^th and I was told for an extra 100 $ it could be done today (and from asking around this isn’t the first time this sweet deal has been offered). Being that I have to report back to base I didn’t see much of an option. But to my delight my car will not be finished today. Thank you MAACO.
I am sure the touch up painting will be marvelous.

I just had my 1999 minivan painted by Maaco in Riverside and I am so happy with the way it turned out. It is an important vehicle for me as it is my business van. The paint had started to look bad the last couple years or so and we took it to Maaco just this last week. They had it finished a day earlier than we expected and my van looks brand new. I had them do the bumpers and trim and they even polished up the headlamps for me. Our contact with Maaco, Donna, was very kind and helpful and the price was a great value. I would highly recommend Maaco to anyone looking to spruce up their vehicle.

My boyfriend brought his classic car here to be painted. Usually this car would be painted by his father except that his father is growing older and has lost his abilities. So we brought the car completely stripped of paint, and gave them simple directions. Fix the body work, coat and sand, then paint. My boyfriend bought all the paint himself, as it was a special color.
Problem number one: The body work guys went around the owner and managers back and asked for extra money under the table for a job well done. We even told the owner and the manager about that. Are they not paid enough? Since we wouldn’t pay under the table, shoddy body work was done. They never coated or sanded, and that is super apparent when you look at the car.
Problem number two: They painted the whole car. They painted the reflectors on the taillights, they painted over a sticker attached to the top of the inside of the trunk, they painted over the engine compartment, and even got spray on the dash and inside the car. Lucky for them, the upholstery was not installed yet.
Problem number three: Because of the previous two problems, when we saw the car we were unhappy. They didn’t like that we asked them to repaint. Again, because of the color, we had to buy/​bring them more paint.
Problem number four: They repainted without doing bodywork. Again.
Problem number five: We were still not satisfied after the third repaint. They STILL didn’t fix the bodywork. And this paint job was worse than the first two. We gave up on them, paid them, took the car home. A week later, the paint was bubbling.
Overall, shitty work, we bought 4 gallons of paint for a job that should have only used 1.33 gallons, and we wasted a lot of time and money on a job done wrong. This whole family is pissed off, and we would have never brought the car here if we weren’t referred. Even if you look at Corey G.‘s review, they painted over his license plate.

I would like to thank Maaco of Riverside CA, for helping me overcome my error of picking the wrong color and repainting it for free. I initially picked a gray metallic color with a slight green undertone. It was unbeknownst to me that the color I had picked was going to look green on the car. A few days after picking up my car, and not being completely satisfied with it (seeing that it looked green), it developed a pretty bad paint bubble/​blister, which I knew would result in me taking it back to Maaco to show them. I also figured I had to take it back anyway to have my license plate light replaced, because it accidently was painted over. They agreed to repaint the top where the bubble had formed, and also generously offered to repaint the whole car the color I initially wanted, which was a metallic gray, all for free. When I got my car back for the last and final time, the car looked amazing! It was just the color I wanted, with no bubbles or mistakes of any kind! I know I owe it all to Maaco and their fantastic staff!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

I have an old Ford 1963 Galaxie 500, I had the car painted original color and some body work done. The pricing was fair and I ordered a single stage paint job. There was some body work needed on the roof and in the back and on the hood. The body work was excellent and over all paint job very good. There were some minor issues where paint ran in one place and some minor items in the paint plus some tape left on. Most were removed but not all.
There was no pressure to buy and the overall process and people were very good. They even noticed they had my tail lights wired wrong and fixed it before I drove it to the upholsterers. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was the minor issues I mentioned I had to catch and they did not recommend the cut and polish when I was pricing out the initial cost. Otherwise we were very satisfied. I will be going back for the minor things and cut & polish!
