Long time listener. First time caller here. This place has been around longer than I can remember. Great booze. Great food, and several types of theme nights. Come in for the tacos on Tuesday, as they are fantastic! The only thing that could make this bar better would be if Salma Hayek was dancing on the bar with a giant snake. Although, that would mean that it’s a vampire bar, and I could die unless George Clooney was there to protect me. Either way, great place to drink. Cheers everyone.

It was pretty good and pretty authentic, and service was great and the salsa was delicious. The beans were not Mexican enough but the food was fresh and yummy in my tummy!

Ugh, one hour for two tacos!!! TWO TACOS??? We came in a large group on a Tuesday for tacos. Drinks came out, no problem. I got a Wabarita which tasted like a regular margarita but blue. The waitress came and took our orders and I order a standard steak and chicken tacos. 10 minutes, okay no problem, large party, takes some time. 20 minutes, tacos come out for others, no problem, I can wait. 30 minutes, belly rumbling and I smell tacos. 40 minutes everyone else has their tacos and I don’t have any. **sad face** The waitress assures me that they are coming but she just needs to talk to her manager. 50 minutes later she comes back and asks me if I got my tacos. Nope, not yet. Roughly 60 minutes later, tacos! Finally, I couldn’t really tell you how they taste because I ate them so fast. From what I tasted they were good but I can’t wait that long for two tacos.

Such a fun atmosphere and stuff drinks. Brittany is amazing and so accommodating. Not to mention hot hot. Visit if you need a drink and no drama. Will be back soon. Looking forward to trying the wings they look good!

Love this bar it is my favorite place to go on the weekends took my brother who came back from Japan here last night had a blast food was great and our server Rachel was the best server there she kept checking on us making sure we always had what we needed even tho it was busy and to add she was super nice can’t wait to go back !

YES PLEASE! This place is amazing! Great food, awesome feel and super inviting for anyone! Love the bar staff, and LOVE LOVE LOVE Monday Night’s KJ’s, Stacia and Cole! The entertainment and talent is OFF THE HOOK! And for those who are very shy, the KJ’s are so sweet and comfortable they make it a great time for everyone who enters the bar. The sound is incredible, the friendly staff will keep me coming back!

I used to love this place and would have given it a 5 in the past but something that happened today was upsetting enough that here I am on Unilocal making it known. The food is AMAZING! The service was average. We did tell the waitress 2 times that we were done and she never brought the check. I had to ask a third time. But here is what was upsetting. My husband went to the bar to buy someone a shot for their bachelor party. He ordered 3 drinks and it came out to 17 $. He handed the bartender a 20 $ bill and instead of giving him his change and allowing him to decide how much of a tip to give she took the change and put it in their tip jar and walked away without giving him eye contact. It was not her choice to do that it was his. If this type behavior is considered acceptable by the owners from their workers then we will not be back no matter how much we enjoy the food and music.

Whoa. I just totally got fucked without a kiss. Lunch with wife set me back $ 75. She had a burger and I had a French dip. The beers were $ 10.50 each!!! Manger just gave me some bogus line that they are charged soooo much by the craft brewers. BS. Gouging at it finest. Last time at this place…

The physically largest dive bar I’ve ever been to. Lake Alice feels like a sample size of everything that the Inland Empire is.
It remains a destination for locals in the downtown area. Expect to pay a cover if it’s a busy night… regardless of how busy Lake Alice actually is.
There IS a lot of things to do here. Pool. Pinball. Jenga. Live bands. While they have an active calendar of events, the quality of everything is exactly what you’d expect at a place like this.
PROPS: For keeping this spot open for almost three decades.
SLOPS: It seems like everyone I know in Riverside has at least one «this one time at Lake Alice a terrible thing happened» story :(

The staff is very friendly and cool. Negatives: This bar just attracts some really off beat people. The price of a draft beer was a little higher than normal too. The décor of the bar is a little outdated.

I love Lake Alice!
This was my 4th visit, and none have disappointed, to this date!
My boyfriend had no difficulty calling to reserve a table. In fact, we did a follow-​up call the day of, and there was no problem pushing it to an hour later. Once we arrived, we checked in and was directed to our spot.
Our server was Megan. She was bubbly, fast, and checked on us often. We never had a drink empty. She was that attentive.
The food we ordered was hot and tasted great. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced.
We came to hear the 80’s cover band, Pop Roqs. We went to school with them. They brought a decent crowd following in.
The place is large, includes a shuffleboard table, lots of bar counter space, and a dance floor, among other things.
We chose to park in a public parking structure, behind the location. Easy and free.

This is a good choice for a casual lunch in downtown Riverside. The menu is diverse, and I haven’t anything that disappoints yet. I eat lunch here about once a week, and usually try something different each time. Portions are substantial.
Service is usually pretty good. I usually visit with a large group (6 – 10) and don’t run into problems.

How are you short bartenders on a Valentine’s Day Weekend? The place is pretty big and wide open. Great for live music.
I must say the staff is great. They were totally slammed when I walked in… but no one was rude and everyone was busting their butts!

We were in for dinner recently from out of town to see the Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn.
Our girls were performing at the stage by the ice skating rink.
Lake Alice has always been a great place to great live bands, shoot pool, shuffle board, dance, etc.
This place is two stories and very roomy. It’s location is great right downtown next to all the action.
We all enjoyed our meals. The service was good. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 was the selection of beer.
I’m a girl who drinks stout. I’ve had enough Guinness. I like to try new stouts or at least Porter.
They only offered one stout. Guinness. Boo. I would like to see a bigger selection of beers.
Other than that, this place is solid for fun and entertainment! Highly recommend.

Tried The tacotuesday : — steak, mahi mahi and fish tacos but was very disappointed. The meat was too blend, no taste! Next ordered the Ahi tuna … Chunks of ahi seasoned with ginger and sesame along with slaw and salads. Was a Saver, after trying the #tacotuesday, was delicious, well presented and filling. Did not try the other items on the menu as everything else involved high carbs (except salads). they have an good drinks menu with some unique cocktails — tried the purple rain and Moscow mule
The interiors like dive bar kind with pool tables, and arcade. There is also a 2nd floor, not yet visited !

Being as this was our first time here I must say that it was fabulous! The waitress that we had was wonderful and attentive. The wings are delicious as well as the barbecue chicken salad. the tacos pretty good too!
If you are in the area swing by you’ll be glad you did!
