History

Established in 2013.

My journey as a birth doula began last year. After having three of my daughters have cesareans in the same year I thought that this wasn’t right and I wanted to be able to help women through education and support during the most challenging but surreal moment in their lives. Joyfuloutcome was chosen as my business name because this is what I hope for all the women who choose me to be their doula.

My name is Sandy Foust CD (DONA) and I am a certified doula through DONA International. I have completed the South Coast Midwifery Internship program for Doula’s. As a trained Doula I have supported numerous couples with their labor and delivery. My experience includes home births, a birth center, and hospital births. I enjoy being a part of each of these birth experiences and I’m looking forward to working with you. It is an honor for me to accompany women in one of life’s most memorable experiences.

I have completed specialized training in Breast Feeding and Co-​Sleeping with Dr James McKenna, Essential Oils and Herbs at Granola Babies, and ‘Spinning Babies” with Gail Tully.
