Attention all brides: this place will not disappoint. They have been in the business for YEARS and have served decades of brides and families of deceased loved ones, so they know what they’re doing. I chose Vacha for my wedding flowers in 2007, and 31 years earlier my mom had used them for her wedding. Back in the day they were located on 47th and Western, just a few blocks from where we grew up, so we know they are a trustworthy family-owned business. My sister-in-law also chose their services for her wedding, and a family friend, who also happens to be an undertaker, uses their services for wakes and funerals. I love that they do not do wedding packages. Everything is ala cart, and VERY reasonably priced, so you can tweak to your heart’s desire. If I can remember correctly, I got all of my wedding flowers for about $ 395. That included my beautiful vintage-style prayer book bouquet of purple roses, 5 bridesmaid bouquets with 1 variation, 5 groomsmen boutonnieres with 1 variation, 3 corsages and 5 additional boutonnieres. Oh, and a throw away bouquet and presentation to the Virgin Mary bouquet. I’d say that’s a steal! The wonderful woman behind the counter is patient and will listen to every detail. I am a control freak, so I needed everything to be just so, and she made sure that everything was just as I envisioned it to be on my wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend their services for any occasion!
