Who on earth owns this store? The place is a «mess» and in my opinion completely understaffed. Only 2 employees in the fabric dept. — 1 to cut and the other to mind the whole rest of the fabrics with customers pulling at her left and right, what a joke. I watched both of them work their tails off and customers frustrated because of lack of help. The material in the knit section and beyond was a total disaster and most of the signs missing. Long, ‘long’ line to check out and this has been going on for way too long there so it tells me that they’re either struggling to stay open or they don’t care to service their customers properly. JoAnne’s, please do us a favor and sell your store to someone who can service it better for us. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star but we have to in order to leave a review.

This location is sooooo slow. You wait at the cutting table for 30 minutes just to wait in line another 15 for checkout. Ridiculous. Never enough staff.

The worst customer service of any Joanns. Plan to spend at least an hour in lines if you are getting fabric. Almost always one person cutting. Takes forever! Then go stand in line to pay… one person working. If you ask for another register to open they get very pissy about it and won’t open one.

This place is beyond understaffed. I needed to find something and walked the entire store to find an employee. Not one employee anywhere. Finally went up to the counter where they cut fabrics and the employee there told me to take a number. Really? I need to take a number just to ask where something is at? He also talks over his mic to ask and see if there’s anyone else that can help me, and he tells me that it’s only him and the manager in the store! This is absolute nonsense. Then I finally get in line. The line takes forever because it’s super long with only one person, the manager, being the only cashier. Then I finally get to the manager at the cashier and as I’m swiping my card and signing, he begins tapping his foot loudly! I don’t have the words to describe this place. Yes they have a bunch of products awesome for crafting but I probably wouldn’t ever want to come back here.

I haven’t given a bad review the last few times I’ve been in the store because the people ate so nice, but this last time was too much. There were only signs on the character fabrics for higher priced fabrics. I picked out 4 that were priced $ 10.99. I went to the cutting counter and waited a little over 20 minutes just to be told I couldn’t use my coupons because the fabric was 25% off. Ugh. So I put it back and finish my shopping. I get to the check outs and wait another 20 minutes to check out. I’m posting pictures of both. A little disappointed. Not sure if they don’t have the hours or if they don’t know how to schedule them. I love this store. I hope it works itself out by Christmas.

This place is ridiculous. If they aren’t out of business it amazes me. They are terribly understaffed. You have to wait in a serpiginous line just to buy thread. It’s a management problem so don’t yell at the poor cashiers. I’ll go to the one in Palm Desert where I work. It’s not so ridiculous. This is the 4^th time it’s been like this on a weekday! No excuse

Wish I would have read all the bad reviews upon coming to this location. My friends and I came here to buy fabric for our Halloween costume. We were having a good time, and the first girl that helped me out with cutting my fabric was really nice (a younger girl). Then, after she cut it my friend comes running to me showing me a better piece of fabric. So I take another number and wait in line for like, oh another half hour or so… When my number is called, the nice girl had to go and is replaced by a grumpy old lady. Her name is Gabby. She sounded irritated right away when she started talking to me. Not nice at all. Horrible customer service. She made me feel as if MY FRIENDS AND I made the mess and were the reasons why the fabric was all over the place and on the floor. She was complaining to me and honestly I didn’t feel bad at all. I was like «sorry» and didn’t say anything else. I think it’s so rude when an employee complains about their job to you and makes you feel like the victim. My girlfriends and I came to an extremely unorganized store already. Fabrics weren’t on the cardboard, it was all over the floor when we came. So don’t blame us. lol. The costume that my friend found for me was ON THE FLOOR, without a cardboard to it. That just shows it was already messy to begin with. Gabby was telling me things like «you’re lucky I found the fabric you wanted. Have you seen it out there? It’s a disaster.» I would understand if she said it nicely but she was giving me the rudest attitude and when I asked her if I can change fabrics I felt so awkward! She was so mean lol… Oh well. Hope I never have her cut my fabric ever again. Everyone else was super nice though! :)

Third time I came in this weekend to get fabric. Last two times I walked out because cutting table was running at twenty numbers out. Not to mention the super long line at the front … No matter how many complaints this company gets about not enough help on the floor, cutting table, cash wrap they do nothing about it. I hate coming here but am forced to because closest fabric store to my house. Not to mention I’m waiting to get fabric cut and the employees is just talking it up with everyone. I mean come on smile do your job say thank you and move on to one of the other 20 people waiting !

Take a picnic. It is a long wait. I will never go there again. 45 minutes to get cut. 35 minutes to check out.

I signed my son up for a sewing class. The teacher was a no show!!! So dissappointed! We waited thirty minutes before being informed that the instructor forgot that she had a class to teach!!! :(I am extremely dissatisfied.

Joanns is my favorite store the lines are long they seem to be under staffed often. I see everyone working hard and as fast as they can. It is worth it with how much I save because they take multiple coupons they also take Michael and Hobby lobby coupons. Which Michaels only takes one and Hobby Lobby only takes theres and is closed on Sundays. I will continue to keep coming to get my fabric and save money.

And at EVERY time I go unless I come right before I close
The staff can be so rude and careless
This week alone I’ve been over charged for either things I didn’t even buy, or they completely put a different yardage of fabric then I really got
the most annoying and rudest person there is Kiona
She has red hair
Multiple times has she rung me up and been super rude but this last time just completely angered me
My mom and I had gone to purchase candles
And when they rung up, they rung up for more than they should have
So my mom told her that they are actually supposed to be 65% off
kionas reply was: well it’s ringing up at this price, and it won’t be 65% off its too early
So she literally argued with my mom going back and fourth insisting that my mom was looking at a different sign and misread it
So my mom finally said I’ll go get the sign then
And Kiona said um I’ll look I guess
She came back and didn’t apologizing for being rude and insisting they weren’t on sale
Because they were ! She just came back and was quiet and just fixed the price and didn’t say shit
Um hello apologize for 1. Being rude AF
2. Arguing with my mom about a damn price instead of moving your ass in the first place and just checking
3. You were wrong AF
Your a rude person
We can tell you hate your job and I honestly hope you are replaced because you give shitty service
I like how big this store is
But it’s not worth waiting an hour in line for fabric
Then another 30 minutes in line to pay
And have all the staff be complete assholes to you
They are all so clueless and sarcastic and ride
Joanns gives no attention to customer service

Staff-​or should I say NO staff. Selections of fabric are good, but trying to get them cut and paid for is a joke. Unless you have an hour or more to stand in line at both the cutting table and register, don’t bother going in…
Management must get a huge bonus on what they save in labor cost.
Staff is friendly enough, when you can find someone to cut fabric and/​or check you out.

I only come to this location because it’s close to my apartment. They have a variety of crafts and you can almost find anything you’re looking for. They have a lot of fabric and sewing supplies. I always get my fabrics here when I need to make a pillow or a blanket. They also have baking supplies! I purchased a donut baking pan (regular and mini). They’re so cute!
The only bad thing is checkout. I hate it when it comes to checkout because it’s so slow! I don’t know why they don’t open up more registers. There’s 7 registers and only 1 is open. Everytime I’m there one 1 register is open and there’s a super long line… So I don’t understand. The line goes by so slow.

Just awful staffing far worse than any other JoAnns. They must not think much of their customers or their experience at all. The people working get over worked and frustrated as much as the customers do which is a bad mix. #15 and they are in #92 over an hour and a half at the cutting table for fabric.
This place is a joke. You seriously need to think about having staff to help especially when their are sales on fabric as I do not know maybe people will come in to buy it. The staffing is worse than a WalMart which is saying something. Quit cutting corners and costs, treat your customers and staff well or I am sure this location will fail. If it does not fail it will be a pain as sooo many people will complain about it. Hate to see your brand destroyed with something you have direct control over. Fix this!!!

This is literally the worst Jo-Ann’s that I’ve ever been to, including the one on the East Coast where an employee was trash talking customers within earshot of my entire family.
I have been in this store when there are two women at the cut counter, having a conversation when I approach, which they continue for about two whole minutes after I have taken a number and am standing in the middle of the cut counter, the only person there… before they even look at me. No acknowledgment.
I’ve braved the long lines, and the rude cashiers who very, very obviously check between your fabric pile to see if you’re stealing. (I used to work security management, honestly, you don’t have to be so blatant, it is insulting! Get some training to your employees!)
But the last time I was in the store, I stood in line at the cut counter for TWENTY MINUTES while the worker slowly, slowly, oh so slowly cut some woman’s cloth. Honestly, the customer wasn’t much better, not knowing how much she wanted of her cart full of stuff, and asking constantly how much her two inches of fabric would be. But they’d see the crowd of people growing, and discuss how much she should get, all while cutting slower than any other person alive. Never did she call another person over, or see if she could get assistance.
And in case anyone is wondering, No, she was not cutting extra carefully. I had her cut material and she had it all half cocked to the side and crooked, but by then, I honestly wanted to get out of that store at all costs. I would have left my purchases behind, if I hadn’t needed them urgently. At the front of the store, there was two cashiers for a long line of people. The woman in front of me said she didn’t even bother shopping fabric, because even though the line was moving when I finally got through, it was still ten deep with the cut counter girl still dreaming of Unicorns. Oh, and finally, I was blessed to be checked out by one of the more obvious of the «Professional Thief Checker», aka, cashier.
The Temecula location is far cleaner, larger, and more professional. As one reviewer stated, they honestly put the MV location to shame. Honestly, in the time I wasted there, I could have driven to Temecula and back, and saved myself a lot of stress and annoyance. If given approximately equal distance to this store, and Literally Any Other, save your sanity and just go to the other store. In fact, at that rate, go to Walmart.

Thank you lady, I thought I was going to have to pay 16.99 for a foam ball but she said I can go online with my phone and there is a 50% off so it was quick and easy just go to Jo-​Ann dot com and popped up a 50% off 1 item coupon all she had to do was scan my phone I am a happy customer, I will always comm here for my crafts needs I guesse I have to make a change to post this, u wanna Unilocal Unilocal lol happy holidays I’ll be back for all my crafting needs

I searched high and low for a specific brand of paint for my redecorating project, I went to 3 stores to find it and found online that they have it here. Sure enough, I get here and they do!
The only problem is that it’s locked behind glass and no one will unlock it for me because there’s only 2 people working, one in fabric and one at the register.
What kind of «Super Store» the size of a warehouse has only 2 people on staff working in the ENTIRE store?
