I enjoy this location. Staff is friendly. Selection is decent. I have noticed a lot of people put their dirty hands on the fabrics and leave nasty spots. Only downfall but thats not the employees fault. They usually discount it or will cut it out for you!

It’s small and the customer service could be better, but I haven’t had any super terrible experiences. However, the restroom here is one of the most disgusting I have been in… yes almost worse than a gas station. I seriously could not believe it. I was there fairly early in the morning a month or so ago (yes before the holiday madness) so there is NO excuse for that!

Third time I came in this weekend to get fabric. Last two times I walked out because cutting table was running at twenty numbers out. Not to mention the super long line at the front … No matter how many complaints this company gets about not enough help on the floor, cutting table, cash wrap they do nothing about it. I hate coming here but am forced to because closest fabric store to my house. Not to mention I’m waiting to get fabric cut and the employees is just talking it up with everyone. I mean come on smile do your job say thank you and move on to one of the other 20 people waiting !

I shop at this store almost once a week and I have never had a bad experience. The sales associates are always so helpful and engaging. Last week, they even showed me how to get coupons on my phone (yes, I’m old). I used to go to the store on Canyon Springs Pkwy and I always gave myself at least 2 hours to get in and out of there because they were so under-​staffed. I rarely left that store feeling happy. The store at the Riverside Plaza is much, much, much better and I usually have a really good time shopping there. There are usually enough staff to handle the cutting table, registers and customer service in the various departments. They have a wide selection of fabrics and notions. All JoAnn’s have tricky coupon policies so it’s not this store’s fault if you’ve had problems. It takes a while to learn how to get the most out of your coupons — and even after a lot of practice — it can still be frustrating. I get annoyed when I go with a bunch of 50% off the regular price coupons and everything I want is on sale for 30% off. But that’s not the fault of the people at the store — it’s the fault of their corporate office.
As someone else mentioned, this is not a Super Store. It’s relatively small so they don’t have a lot of the items and services a larger store has but this store is a friendly, cozy place to shop.

Rude staff. Not helpful, no common courtesy to see if you need help. Never coming back. Waste of cool location.

Absolutely hands down worst customer service I have experienced in quite a while. As a former employee of this company I am disgusted at the non existent customer service from this location. I will NEVER spend another penny of my money here.

I like this store but not the customer service. I went in last week to purchase ribbon and fabric but my coupon wasn’t scanning because it was blurry. The cashier was very rude to me and made me feel really bad for not using the website coupon. I asked if she could manually give me the 40% off because my phone was taking forever to open the website to get the coupon. She said no and continued to show impatience and attitude with her body language and sarcastic comments. I would rather drive to Moreno valley’s Jo-Ann’s store than go to this location again.

I’ll keep this short and to the point. Your employees are rude and unhelpful. If I wanted to be treated as though I were a child I would have went to visit my nana. The manager had to be paged regarding my return. She stated they normally don’t accept returns on batting. Then preceded to meticulously unroll the unused batting. Searching for who-​knows-​what. I said if that is the policy I have no issues abiding. However, my receipt, the Huge store sign and the web site all read; we take all returns with receipt. I asked her to show me the policies and procedures guideline regarding returns of batting. She said she was going to accept my return so that was unnecessary. This is just one example of the disappointing service provided by Joanne’s.

I went to this joanns today for the first time in a while since my last experience with kathleen wasnt well but i encountered a different experience with quincy today and she was soo helpful with my whole shopping experience. I was a little leery coming back to this store but im glad i did. Great after holiday specials and great customer service, thanks!

Absolute disgusting customer service. Watch out for an older lady with short white hair. She’s usually working in the back or the center where the interfacing and such is cut. I entered the store anxious and excited to buy a bunch of materials to start my new project. I’m a beginner so I was ready to ask people around for some assistance for beginners. After getting all the materials such as scissors, cutting board, thread, machine, etc, I came across the interfacing and wasn’t quite sure what it was for but one of the ladies who helped me in the beginning said it was necessary to buy to make bags sturdier. I then asked the old lady for help and she DIDNT EVEN LOOK UP FROM WHAT SHE WAS DOING AND SAID «Wait.» Then with her bitchy attitude she noticed I was young so she gave me an even bitchier attitude. I SIMPLY ASKED IF SHE KNEW HOW MUCH INTERFACING I WOULD NEED SINCE I OBVIOUSLY WAS NEW TO THIS AND SHE YELLED AT ME SAYING I WASNT EVEN PREPARED AND SHE TOLD ME TO COME BACK WHEN I KNEW HOW MUCH I NEEDED. Dear lady, if you’re that bitchy to customers who are new with sewing, quit your saggy ass. I don’t know how you aren’t fired. Take some manner classes while you’re at it.

Unfortunately, this location has the worst customer service. If I’ve had a question about something specific, they’ve never had an answer. The management team is not approachable, and both management & associates aren’t knowledgeable of their product. This location has been like this since the opening last year. I will be driving to Corona for the great customer service they provide. I wish to leave 0 stars.

I think the place is tiny for a Joanns but I like it. There is a huge selection on yarn and crochet supplies. Prices are reasonable and the customer service is good. The cashier that rung me out today was very nice and helpful.

I’ve shopped every Michaels Craft Store within 30 miles, swearz, so I was hoping to find something different at Jo Anne.
OK I used to go to another location and it is mostly fabric, but they had a nice smallish crafts and decorations sections.
Sadly, at this location, the crafts were not very exciting and their home design section was one shelf. Blah for me.
Their storage boxes on sale at 50% were still way more expensive than the frequent 7 for $ 10 photo storage box deal at Michaels.
I think had I been looking for fabric, I’d be happy. Then again, back in the OLD days, people sewed their own clothes to save money. These days the cost of material is so outrageous, I go to Wal Mart, Target, Khols etc to get pre-​made clothes MUCH cheaper. Shame.
But on the plus side, I saw more people walking around the Plaza despite the fact there are very few stores there. :)

I wish there was an option to give this store negative stars. My girlfriend has been shopping at Joann’s fabrics for many years and has had amazing customer service in the past. We decided to check out this new store with the expectation of receiving the same level of excellent customer service that we were accustomed.
The first time we went to the store we found some stuff we wanted and during check out they needed to renew the tax exempt form as it was expired (according to the store manager in needs to be updated every February.) He fills out a card for us and says we can take this to any Joann’s and just show them this card in the future to expedite checking out.
Second trip to this store; we find some fabric we like and then go to check out. First they refuse to accept the tax exempt even though we just renewed the information in this same exact store a week earlier. Second, the manager (a different manager and she was female) comes over and says that they do not accept any competitor coupons and they never have. (We have been going to Joann’s and they have always accepted for years so we were confused). They store manager went further into being so rude to my girlfriend that she made her cry.
I emailed corporate customer service to request to make a formal complaint again the manager for accosting my girlfriend for no reason other than her being Peruvian which is the only thing that comes to my mind. I then got a response email to call a number to explain what happened. I called the number and spoke with someone and she said someone at the store level would give me a call within 24 hours to formalize my complaint. It has been almost two weeks now with no phone call. I emailed corporate 5 days ago to follow up and have not heard back.
I am disappointed with the customer service and the way we were treated for trying to use competitor coupons and a valid tax exempt (which we have the official paperwork which they would not accept).
I no longer feel safe shopping at this Joann’s Fabrics and just a heads up, if you are of Spanish decent, be careful.

Good luck with customer service. The manager staffs only a cashier or two at the front a cutter in the fabric section. My options for customer assistance was to either wait in the check out line or take a number at the cutting counter. Then, of course, my item was out of stock despite them having plenty on the computer earlier when I called.

Went here because it is close to my house. Wanted to use a coupon for 60% off notions. Did you know at this store sewing machine needles are not notions? I have a lot of trouble going here the prices are too high for such low quality fabric. I still will go here for emergency zipper or thread, maybe.

The store has a cozy, relaxed feeling just like any other Joanns fabric store and has a great variety of selections on the fabrics. The people are kind but there’s not much other than the fabric itself.

This is not a «super» store. It’s just a regular JoAnns Fabric and Craft Store. Meaning, they just have the basics and a few extras. For me, it fills its purpose. I shop there at least once a week. They have an almost constant 40% or 50% coupon that I use to the fullest advantage. The store is new. The store is clean. I can usually find parking close by. The staff has been helpful and friendly. I’ve never had any problems here. The line goes quickly. They don’t hesitate to call cashiers to the front.

I have mixed feelings about this store. They are a newer store and have a good selection on some products. The biggest problem is that whenever I go into this store (five times already) the majority of the products that I want to buy do not have a price tag or a tag that has limited info. What I mean is if the product (not fabric by the yard) is sold BY THE YARD then it should say on the price tag that the item is sold BY THE YARD! But thats ONLY when the item has a tag. 90% of the time the items that I need DO NOT have a tag anywhere on the item and the sales people have a heck of a time trying to find out what the item is sold for. Then once all that commotion is over I get to the register and the sales people are not friendly at all. I mean, they say hello and how are you, but in a tone of voice that says, I hate people. They are always frustrated, almost grunting in their voice and I highly doubt these people have ever and I mean EVER crafted an item in their entire life. If you work for this store you should at least LIKE crafts! AND PEOPLE! The Corona store had a very limited selection, but at least the people were nice. I think I’ll drive out of my way to visit that store.
