Gopher Pros

When I first saw a gopher mound in our front yard, I was in disbelief and denial. The second one popped up and then I got pissed.
After calling a few pest control companies and hearing their sales pitches, Gopher Pros was the one that I felt was the most honest and effective. I was impressed that the owner was the direct contact person who still leads by example through his hard work.
The traps were set and within 2 days, the gopher was caught.
Prices: Call and ask but they were comparable to other pest companies, who merely throw rat bait down the hole.
Overall: Excellent and 5-​star, definitely the go-​to company if you have gopher/​pest problems.

I had a gopher show up for the first time in my backyard & it started to destroy my sod & landscaping within just a couple days. The damage was unbelievable. I searched Unilocal & Gopher Pros came out the next day. They did an outstanding job of trapping a gopher within a couple hours after setting traps. The owners Jim & Deb are professional, knowledgable and I highly recommend their services. I will definitely use them in the future if any more gophers show up & would confidently refer them to my friends and neighbors. Money well spent!

I highly recommend Gopher Pros if you’re having problems with gophers. Jim and Debbie responded quickly to my call and were friendly and flexible with my schedule. They showed up when they said they would and were patient with my questions about their service. They were quick and professional and checked back often on the traps and didn’t give up until they got both of the gophers that were tearing up my lawn. They fixed the holes from the traps and put down grass seed and hopefully in a couple weeks it will look like the gophers were never even here. Jim and Debbie definitely know how to get the job done. They set the traps on a Thursday and when they came back on Sunday afternoon, they got the little booger! I’ve got the picture to prove it. They gave us a great deal and my wife, my lawn and I are grateful :)

If you want your gophers removed diligently and with a couple that are passionate and committed to what they do, then Gopher Pros are for you. The best. I don’t know how many times they came to ensure our large yard was rid of them, but each time we knew in advance and it was handled professionally. The price is right and the service tops. Highly recommend and will use again.

They are fast, efficient and get the job done. I appreciated they made a second trip to set up another trap when another gopher hole showed up. I’m happy to say we are now gopher less and getting our yard back.

We are so grateful for Gopher Pros!!! We noticed a couple of gopher holes and tried dealing with this problem ourselves, as well as two different gardeners tried smoke bombs, traps and still couldn’t get rid of it. We decided we needed professional help, (which I wish I had done this right away) I looked on Unilocal,and saw all of the wonderful reviews for Gopher Pros, so I called. Jim and his wife are very kind and they REALLY know their stuff!!! They came to my home, made an assessment, and set up a plan to take care of my gopher problem. Everything Jim said to me initially on the phone, was exactly what happened when he came, including the price he quoted. They set a few traps on Friday, and came back today, Monday, and they caught the gopher! This gopher was damaging my beautiful weeping willow tree. Apparently, the gopher was dining on the roots. I would definitely recommend Gopher Pros for anyone having gopher problems. They took care of my gopher quickly, and easily. I live in an open area, so if and when this happens again, I will call them right away next time.

This service is GREAT! The team arrived at my home just as scheduled, and got to work right away. Though I was skeptical about the process, I am a believer now! They know exactly what they’re doing. Minimal dig up of the yard, and they replaced literally every blade of grass, it now looks like they never disturbed anything. They communicate regularly with you, and let you know the expected results. They caught two smaller gophers, but they were convinced there was a third, larger, yard-​destroying monster, and they were right. They moved the traps around, and caught it. I really cannot say enough good about this service, the price is better than I was quoted from a competitor, who wanted to use chemicals/​poisons and come back every month, which is not at all good for my wallet or my pets. My only regret is that I didn’t call on them sooner! Great Job!

My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the work and effort from Jim and his wife. They were expedient, professional, and thorough. Top notch all the way! They set a total of nine traps, and caught four gophers that were wreaking havoc on our front and side yards. We would definitely use them again.

Jim came out and assessed the situation, told me that he felt there was only one gopher doing all the damage to my front yard. He carefully set about 5 traps along the different areas of the tunneling system the gopher had created and said he’d return in a couple of days to check on the traps. After about 2 days Jim came back and as he pulled out the 2^nd trap, there was the gopher. Jim not only removed the gopher, but covered up any holes that the gopher had made and then proceeded to reseed those areas with grass seeds. In about 10 days my lawn looked good as new, just as it did before the gopher wreaked havoc. I’d use his services again 100%.

I would definitely recommend Gopher Pros. I had tried store bought products to deal with gophers but no luck. They are very knowledgeable about the habits of the rodents he deals with, and took the time to answer all concerns about his trapping methods. Set up and problem solved in three days. Thank you Jim. Jim is amazing! We had some rats in our garage and attic and tried everything we could to take care of the issue ourselves when we should have called him from day one. He came in and placed all the traps and did all the necessary steps (I didn’t know there were steps to follow) and caught all of them so quickly! He stopped by very regularly to check the traps and re-​bait them to make sure it was all taken care of, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend him!!!

Jim and his wife were great! They came the very next day, laid down traps, saved my $ 2,000 new lawn from being destroyed in the middle of selling our home, and even reseeded the area! Knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable!

My husband and I were quickly losing our battle with yard critters. We weren’t sure if we had gophers or ground squirrels. Jim came in and quickly assessed that gophers were our BIG problem. Jim came out recently and took care of a raccoon that has been a nuisance in and around our property. Digging through our trash, messing up our lawn and garden area. Jim came out, did his magic and the raccoon was gone super quick. Can’t thank you enough Jim.

Jim is very knowledgable in catching these pesky vermin and knows exactly where to place traps for maximum effectiveness. I’ve used his service twice for different areas because these things breed like crazy. He caught a total of 5 gophers!
