Specialties

We specialize in all types of glass installation including safety, high performance, energy efficient, tinted, commercial and residential glass. We offer board up service 24 hours a day to ensure the safety of residential and commercial properties. We specialize in door packages, metal modification, mirrored walls, tub enclosures, table tops, screens and more. We are also one of the few glazing companies that have the equipment to build dual pane window units on the premises. This means we can install within 24 hours rather than waiting days or sometimes weeks for installation.

History

Established in 1990.

We have been providing quality service to the Inland Empire and surrounding cities for over 20 years. Although we started the company with just two employees, we have grown to six journeyman glaziers and two secretaries.

Cheryl has been with Fred’s Glass & Mirror, Inc. since 1990. She is happy to announce our new addition to the company, Joseph Jaramillo. Joseph recently graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a degree in Business. He has over 10 years of customer service experience and has a fresh outlook on growing business situations. Joseph is a positive attribute to the company and is learning the daily operations of Fred’s Glass & Mirror, Inc. to one day run the company on his own.

This was our first experience with Fred’s glass and based on their service and their responsiveness we will continue to come to them with all of our window and glass needs. Everybody from the office staff to Steve L. who came out and did the measurements and install (which looks great!) were great to work with and made the whole process quick and easy! I will definitely recommend them to friends and I recommend them to anybody looking for window repairs or replacements. Being that we live on a golf course I’m sure that we will be calling Fred’s again one day which is fine by me.

Let me start by saying 1 star is way to much for this place. Upon first call they were nice sent someone out to get measurements on my windows and a quote was told $ 398.50 for the kitchen window. I was good with this so scheduled an appointment to get the work done. They sent another person to my house to get an exact measurement and was then told the price was now $ 598 and that the first price was only for 1 side of the kitchen window. When I called the office to find out why I was told something different the girl immediately beacme very rude and said she was the one who gave the first quote and that was for a different type of window. Already this is two different stories. I was standing infront of the tech when he was asking for prices he asked for the correct one and was given the $ 389 price. She continued to argue about what was said. I don’t recommend this company to anyone. Some advice get several quotes and make sure they do what they say.

We had a broken front window that needed to be replaced ASAP. I called them after looking pn Google for glass replacement. They were nice from the beginning and very helpful. A person was dispatched immediately and the window was replaced within an hour. After the work was completed I got a call telling me that the window was actually less than originally quoted (I paid for it over the phone) and a credit was issued. I would not only recommend them I would use them again without hesitation.

Went in to get estimates for glass shelves and a mirror and I spoke with Jennifer who was excellent very helpful friendly and made me feel great since I didn’t know much about how to get glass cut for shelves. Angie also was very helpful so to have two people willing to help me was even better.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Fred’s glass. From start to finish, everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly and everything was handled in a very timely manner.
I had a front window broken out of my house over the holiday weekend, and fully expected that I was going to have to wait until Tuesday to get it fixed. I called on Memorial Day, and a woman named Jennifer took my call and sent someone out within a few hours. Knowing it was a holiday, I was SO grateful that they had service available and that I was not paying an arm and a leg to get it taken care of.
I would definitely recommend Fred’s to anyone in need of affordable quality glass.

Horrible customer service! Sheryl in the office is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met! I regret having them fix my window! Worst company ever!
** You guys cut the glass before any agreement was made to proceed with the work. We where told to get quotes from other companies before any work was to be done. We received a quote that was $ 200 less than your quote. You guys jumped the gun and cut the glass before any agreement was made by our property management.
And on top of that, you wouldn’t even match the written price quote from the other contractor.
Cheryl, if you had any sense of customer service you would match a legitimate price quote.

Awesome job here!
I came in with a double pane, low-​e glass, broken window, with a white vinyl frame.
I showed up with my window a little late yesterday. I was assured that window and screen would be ready the next day.
Well, I live in the north side of San Bernardino. By the time I picked my son up from school (within the hour of dropping window off), Fred’s called and left a voicemail, saying that my window and screen were both ready.
I picked up my items 1st thing this morning, took them home and installed. Both fit perfectly and look great!
On top of it all, service is friendly and I was given a more than reasonable price.

I’ll recommend highly to everyone I know, who happens to have a window issue.
