Fish Fantasy

Customer service was very rude. The place was dirty. Fish tanks weren’t lit up. Many fishes were sick. The lady working there just took our money, said thank you, and didn’t even hand us the bag our fishes were in and walked away. Not a lot of fishes in stock, and this place was not clean, and unorganized. I don’t know why there were such good ratings.

My boyfriend and I were browsing around on options for a saltwater fish tank. After entering the store, my boyfriend noticed that a tank of the freshwater fishies was following him and decided to play with the fish by moving his hand around the tank. An associate, she was either Mexican or White with blond hair, started talking to us like a child. «Nuh ah ah! You’re scaring the fish! Stop that!» First off, he wasn’t scaring the fish, he was playing with them. Second, what makes you think you can talk to your customers like that? Then she continue on with feeding the fish next to us. Hoping she would hear, I started talking to my boyfriend that she had poor customer service and that he wasn’t scaring the fish.
Continuing on, I asked for help from a short Thai lady. She, on the other hand, knew what she was talking about and very considerate. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and she definitely cares for her fish. Although she does have an accent, she answered all of my questions and I left the store with more knowledge about setting up and caring for a salt water tank.

I have been to this store several times and love it. I have always been treated nicely and taken care of when I have come in. I get honest feedback and suggestions to concerns and questions I have about my aquariums. I have not lost a single fish I have bought from Fish Fantasy. The fish always look healthy and if there’s even the slightest concern about some being sick, they will not let you buy them. I’m so happy to have found this place!

Love this place! Pam and Matt are so nice and very knowledgable. I just bought 2 shubunkin goldfish to replace my other 2 that unfortunately didn’t make out recent move: (I went to a few other places that were a little more local to us since we now live in Murrieta, but their shubunkin fish did not have the large fins like they do at Fish Fantasy. The store was nice and have a good selection of coral. The fish and invertebrate section was lacking but that can be hit or miss so I won’t hold that against them. They were willing to help out when I was there.

I’ve been to many saltwater fish stores and this is the place for quality corals and fish! I love how honest they are if the fish have ich they don’t sell them and notify you of any problems, so everything you do buy is perfectly healthy not like other stores they may be pricy but you do get what you pay for! The store is a little run down and not as nice as some of the other stores I have been to lately. They are very knowledgable, helpful, and most important they are very friendly which isn’t the case with alot of other fish stores I have been to. With me just getting into the saltwater aquarium world all of that is very inportant to me. They also have a pretty good selection of fish and supplies to choose from. All in all this is a store that will be receiving my buisness in the future.

Kind of expensive, but definetly alot of fish knowledge going on here. Great place for a beginner to come get some knowledge and start up a tank

This fish store has tropical and fresh water fish, and everything needed to care for them. The store is clean and beautiful and the variety is great. There are some rare fish and every time I go they are healthy and well cared for. They always carry supplies for reptiles too. Fish Fantasy has a large variety of products, is clean, well stocked, and fun to visit for everyone who likes fish. I definitely recommend it!
