Eye-C-You Optometry

This business is amazing! I went here because early in the day I went to urgent care for my eye. My eyes had a reaction and it was really bad. Urgent care just told me it was my allergies and gave me allergy medicine but I knew it was more than that. After looking up places close to me I found Eye C you was right next to me. I called and made an appointment right away. When you walk in, their place is clean and is the perfect temperature. The staff is beyond amazing. They were so welcoming and kind. They were quick and did a wonderful job spending time on my eyes to figure out what really was wrong. It hasn’t even been a full 24 hours and my eyes are already looking better from the reaction I had. I thank this company for being understanding and friendly to me as a customer. I recommend this place to anyone having eye/​vision problems.

The staff here was super friendly and the doctors were great. I’ve been wearing contacts for years now and I’ve always been used to a certain brand, but the doctor recommended something different and I’m loving them so far. They also have a good selection of cute frames. This is now my local optometrist!

First of all Dr. Tran is wonderful. Very personable and knowledgeable. But the office staff is a different story. This is the second time I have been there where Dr. Tran said he’d comp. me a few pairs of contacts, and when I go to pick up my contacts that I have ordered there is no notes about my comp. contacts. Therefore I didnt get them. LIke I said Second time this has happened. Annoying. The office staff said on the phone that I get a rebate since I got a year of contacts. Then when I go to pick up my contacts they said Im not eligible for the reable. WTH???

Last review I made was for another place. My wife came here for new glasses and was happy with service and product.

I avoid going to the optometrist mainly because of the air they blow into your eye to check pressure. But I wanted contacts. It’s been 2 years since I got my eyes checked so I decided to give this place a try. Dr. Tran was so nice and caring. He didn’t rush the appointment and most importantly he didn’t blow air into my eye :). This was my first time getting contacts and he was not impatient with me trying to put them in. His staff is really helpful as well. Love this place!

Dr. Tran is a really nice guy and offers excellent quality care. He will take all the time he needs for you. I have seen him several times and I am very happy with both my pairs of glasses.

I’ll try to keep this short, but basically this is the best optometrist office ever.
I wear contacts all the time and I have 3 dogs who are always getting their fur in my eyes. I wake up one day and my contact is killing me so I take it out, but it still feels like there is something in my eye still. I figure it’s a dog hair, but I can’t flush it out.
I called several optometry offices and was told my issue was a medical one so I would have to go to a doctor instead of an optometrist. I called Eye C You and they agreed to see me. I cannot stress how much pain I was in. My head was hurting. I had to cover my left eye just so I could see okay with my right eye. It was very painful. And I don’t have glasses so I couldn’t take out my contact without being blind. I get an appointment that day and head over.
Dr. Penn Tran was not only incredibly competent, but he made me feel so at ease. My day was instantly better just by being around his cheerful disposition. He quickly assessed the problem, made my eye feel better, and gave me an antibiotic with no fuss. Then he gave me the best eye exam I’ve ever had in my life. I never want to go to another optometrist again. Also, his waiting room has a huge fish tank in it. You have to go check it out!

I’ve had the same optometrist for over 10 years but have no vision insurance and was looking for something in my budget and found Dr. Tran. Am so happy I did! He’s an awesome Dr and really takes his time to give you a thorough exam and explains everything in great detail. The office is beautiful and his staff is warm and welcoming. Parking there is a bit of a pain. There’s several businesses there and parking for UCR students– if you’re driving there get there early for your appt to look for parking. They have security making sure you don’t park in the Del Taco/Denny’s parking spots. They need to give some of those spots up to Dr. Tran:)

I’m a bit disappointed we have a 12oclock appointment and we came 30 minutes earlier to get all the paperwork done for my sons eye check. We wait patiently because there was someone ahead of us. Another patient shows up and we didn’t think much about it till the doctor was done with the patient that was ahead of us then he calls in the other patient that showed up after us. They explain to us that the guy was there 11:30 appointment. We show up early to get here on time and get our paperwork done just to have someone that’s an 11:30 be taking in at 12:30 and my appointment is at 12pm. That’s very disappointing that’s why we set appointment. They have a good customer service but I cant give them 5 stars because there not accurate with there appointments. The doctor is awesome that I will agree he is very patient with my son and helpful.

I love this place, the Dr and his staff are extremely helpful. They offered to give me an extra pair of contacts while my order came in at no additional charge. I have recommended him to everyone I know!

I just moved to the area and I needed an eye exam and a contact lenses exam ASAP because my prescription was about to run out. I called Eye-​C-​You Optometry and they got me right in for an appointment the next day!
I got there and waited for a short amount of time. Their office is super clean, calming and cool. I love the fish tank that they have there.
Dr. Penn Tran greeted me and I was immediately happy that I decided to come here. Dr. Tran was absolutely amazing. He really makes you feel at ease, you can tell that he is super interested in what he does, and he is very good at what he does. As he is examined my eyes, he told me about all of the cool ways that he could use your eyes to tell how healthy you were. He explained everything that he was doing and I felt very comfortable with him.
I would definitely recommend Eye-​C-​You Optometry and Dr. Tran!

Wow I absolutely love this place. Its very nice inside and the staff is awesome. Very polite and friendly, they make you feel well taken care of. The doctor is also very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I’m so happy to choose Eye C You that day, when i had to see an optometrist for my son. The minute i walked in, i felt the good vibe right away from the staff. They were very friendly, caring and concerning. Dr. Tran was wonderful, very professional, so patient with my 3 year old son. Dr. Tran is the best optometrist in my area, i will definitely recommend to everyone.

Doctor Tran is really awesome!!! He treated my son with kindness and was very welcoming. Best optometrist I have ever met! We will be returning with the rest of my clan.

This is definitely one of the nicest optometry office I’ve ever visited. I loved the fish tank placed in the seating area – that subtle touch made waiting a bit more entertaining… if there was a wait. I noticed that some kids liked looking at the fish too. I was lucky enough to be seen shortly after filling out the paperwork. Even with an appt, I’m used to waiting at least 20 min. Either this was my lucky day or Dr. Quan and his staff are just awesome. hahah
Dr. Quan made my eye exam quickkk yet informative. He even went the extra mile to make sure my eyes were healthy with a quick retinal image, which I didn’t even know should be checked.
Mary-​anne (one of the opticians) chose a few frames. and all I had to do was decide between 2 – 3 pairs that actually looks good on me. Being the picky person I am, I usually have trouble finding a frame, but Mary-​anne knew what frame would look nice on me.
Now that I have glasses that I love to wear, I let my eyes rest from wearing contacts all day. I can wear my glasses comfortably during my day out… AND feel cute wearing them! hahah. I’ve never gotten this many compliments from my glasses before.
OH YEAH, did I mention how good looking and well dressed the staff are? Talk about eye-​candy. haha. Thank youu Eye-​C-​You for your personalized care and great service :)

I had an appointment for 10:30 was 1.5 hours early and was taken in and seen and out with more information than I normally get from my optometrist office. highly efficient and friendly staff members.

Dr. Tran is everything you’re looking for in an optometrist; he’s incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and truly cares about his patients. His desire to take care of his patients and do what’s right for them shows as soon as your appointment starts. Dr. Tran doesn’t rush with his patients, he takes the time to understand your concerns and takes the time to explain things to make sure you understand your situation. I would recommend Dr. Tran and his team to everyone!

Dr. Tran wasn’t available but Dr. Quan was awesomeness… very nice and went the extra mile to make sure i was happy with my new prescription. Ladies at the front desks were great and I was able to pick out a very nice pair of frames… I understand you can get glasses cheaper else where but I am happy with my purchase and the service that was provided.

My first visit yesterday… I’m really impressed. Friendly, informative staff… Dr Quan Nguyen was through and efficient. Answering all my questions. Highly recommend!

I’ve been having a lot of eye strain issues even after a couple of minutes of computer uses and reading. It started to affect my school work during powerpoint lectures, because my headaches would be distracting. Aleve or excederin were not relieving my pain either. After finally getting insurance, I saw they were covered under my insurance.
There just happen to be a same day appoint available and it was the Trunk show where they had a discount sale and so many awesome frame styles on display. Everyone (staff) was really friendly and were helping me chose the right pair of frames.
Dr. Tran has a warm personality. I appreciated how he explained everything he was doing in my exam and why. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Come check it out :)
