Dolled Up By Gina

From the very first contact I had with Gina, she was nothing less than professional, accommodating, helpful, prompt, and incredibly sweet. I am beyond thankful to have stumbled upon her. I was one of those procrastinators that didn’t realize until two weeks before the wedding that I had not secured a makeup artist. By some miracle, Gina happened to be available. Because it was already so close to the wedding, we did not have a chance to do a trial. I had no clue as to what I wanted for my hair or makeup but she went out of her way to accommodate my indecisiveness. From a picture of myself and my dress, she was able to make suggestions and envision ideas for my wedding look. The day of the wedding, she walked in looking amazing. I immediately told her, «I want your makeup». That was the intent; her make up was a trial on herself to see if I liked it. How amazing and well prepared is she? After the phenomenal job she did with my makeup, I absolutely trusted her to do whatever she wanted with my hair and she did not disappoint. In fact, she blew me away. I don’t think I could have conjured up a makeup or hair inspiration that would fit me more perfect than what she created. I can’t say enough great things about Gina. She arrived at our home with a set up that screams she is a professional that knows what she is doing and at the same time made me feel like a celebrity. Gina is easy and fun to talk to. While she worked her magic on my exterior, I could just feel the anxiety and minor stress melt away as I emotionally prepared myself for one of the most beloved days of my life. After working on me, Gina moved on to my mom, again – we just allowed Gina to do her thing. We didn’t give her any instruction and she made my mom look delightful. I didn’t have a maid of honor to keep things simple, the plan was for my mom to help me out. However, so that my mom would not ruin her hair and makeup by sweating up a storm (it was really hot) Gina stepped into that role as well. She helped me changed into my wedding dress, assisted me with putting on my shoes, and made sure the corset of my dress and my veil were perfection. By the time she put me together from head to toe, I felt like she was a longtime good friend and I am beyond grateful that she was there. I felt so incredibly supported in every sense by Gina. I can’t wait for our next event that would call for a makeup artist and a good friends so I can look to Gina’s help. If you are lucky enough to book Gina, I can tell you that you wont be sorry. My now husband usually hates makeup and after the wedding he confessed that he was a little scared that I would have so much makeup on that I would not look like myself on our wedding day. He couldn’t stop raving about what an fantastic job Gina did; I honestly never expected my husband to care so much or comment on my makeup. Gina, thank you so much for making me look like a VERY beautiful version of myself. The wedding was outdoors and it was 106 degrees, yet at 2am, my makeup and hair were still intact and I continued getting compliments about how lovely I looked. Thank you, Gina! I will definitely be recommending you to everyone that is in need of your creative touch. Big hug!

Great artist all around! Her threading services didn’t hurt nearly as much as other places I’ve been too. She did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot. She took her time and my pictures came out flawless. I’m super excited to work with her again for the upcoming wedding. I would recommend her to all my friends and family for any occasion!
