Del Taco

I have been to this Del taco a hundred times and have never had a bad experience. Today my son and I walked here with our dog (they have a cute outside patio eating area). I ordered food, a soda and two cups of water. «Juana» the young lady taking my order asked if one of the waters was for my dog (she saw my son and dog waiting outside). I said yes, she offered me a bowl so the dog would have an easier time drinking the water. Small gesture, but so kind! She even filled it up for me. She went above and beyond. We need more people like Ms Juana in this world.

One thing about me, I don’t care if you make a mistake and get my order wrong or if it takes longer than average for my food to be ready. There are major things in life to be upset about and that is not one of them. Things happen, I get that. But the one thing that makes me shake my head is when I deal with horrible customer service. With that said, I was nice and understanding when the employee charged me for the wrong order. But then became sadly disappointed with the Manager who was just down right nasty about the error. She wasn’t nasty with me directly but the way she treated her employees when the mistake was made and then not even acknowledging me to at least say, «Sorry about that or we apologize for the error.» Nothing. My drink was also incorrect. No big deal. But when the Manager tried to give me the drink, I politely told her that was not the drink I ordered. She then rolled her eyes and slammed the drink on the counter by the employee who made the error. The line was long due to the error so out of kindness, I paid for the car behind me along with my meal. The Manager just walked away. Sad that the employee was the sweet and nice one while the Manager who is supposed to set an example was the one who acted like someone with no managerial experience. Extra star for the employee who was sweet and kind. But won’t be going back.

During a recent lunch here, a Del Combo Burrito tasted good but rather saucy, and the Flour Tortilla that held its contents within had a flour dust texture on the outside. A Regular Ground Beef Taco came with fresh lettuce and cheese but contained no tomato and was cold. The advertised and lusciously pictured added avocado slice was more like a small scoop of Guac. Krinkle Cut Fries were warm and soft. My meal was adequate to take away the hunger but not as satisfying as I had hoped.

Love Del Taco, but this location just can’t get it together. Nothing ever tastes fresh! Gonna give you one more chance to get my food right and then I’m done!

Was here for breakfast and ordered the new egg and cheese taco. It was fresh, tasty and hot! Their coffee machine was out of order though so I couldn’t get my morning coffee! What a bummer :-(.All in all a good experience, hope they fix the coffee machine soon.

If you like the ½ lb. green burrito, always ask for extra green sauce (since it’s free). If you like their crinkle cut fries, always ask if they’re fresh (so you don’t get stale fries… because their crinkle cut are the best). And if you like (love) their Turkey Tacos, email/​phone corporate and ask that they be added to Taco Tuesdays (at a slightly higher price point). :) This location seems to always be well kept, friendly, and the quality of ingredients seem to be prepared fresh, daily (which they usually are). A consistent five stars on any given day of the week. (While you have corporate on the line… tell them to add that nifty, tall, red, futuristic-​looking, computerized soda machine that dispenses over 50+ flavors, to this Del Taco #1.)

Gotta have my ½ Ib green burritos with extra cheese! Bomb.
Beware of the quesadillas, they barely have any cheese.

Don’t order a stoner burrito, make sure you ask for a bold burrito cause the douche bag in the drive through will pretend like he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. The stoner burrito is a must try…

This place is decent. Great Staff! Del Taco is so damn expensive though.

I hit up this venue every now and again to get the job done before I have to go into work? and they do the job well for my tummy as far as I am concerned and their customer service is great! Yaay! lol

Quick, simple, and cheap. Hit up there toco nights, very nice!

Cheesecake bites are amazing. Shakes are ok. Love their fries here. Where can you get those crinkles?

When I pulled up to this Del Taco the Drive thru was totally full and I almost drove away but decided to wait. I don’t think I had to wait more than 5 minutes to get up to the window. The service was fast but friendly and my order was correct and the food was Hot!.

If you like your Mexican food simple and quick, this is the place for you. I especially like the bean and cheese burrito and the breakfast quesadilla. Yes, I like to keep my choices simple, and pocket the savings. The staff is professional and courteous (most of the time). This Del Taco is across the street from one of the nicest outdoor malls in the region and a block and half away from the main freeway. See you there.
