Country Village Apartments

I have read the negative comments, but I am just a blessed person! My agent was Cynthia and she was the best! I love Country Village Apts! I love how close it is to the freeway. I love you can play golf anytime you want and it’s free. I love it has a little market that sells just the essentials but has a wide variety of everything. The laundry facilities are great! I have not had anything negative at Country Village at all. If you want a reasonably priced apartment located a par 3 away from the 60 Fwy? Look no further, Country Village is the place for you!

My husband and I were planning on moving here in mid october. We gave them a deposit (100.00) and another 70.00 for the credit checks. We were given a rental agreement that gave us our address (every apartment has their own address and mailbox), and told that as soon as she (Cynthia, the leasing agent,) called us with the credit approval, that we should immediately set up to have our gas and electric turned on because she needed the acct. numbenters immediately. So we got her call that our application had been approved and to get going on the utility set up. So we did and called her with the acct. numbers and started packing up our stuff and we went over to country village to check the place out some more because we felt a bit rushed by Cynthia to pick an apartment because SHE was short on time. Anyway, we liked what we saw, and talked to many of the residents who told us that the restaurant and the thrift store, 2 of the selling points they use, were closed and had been closed for some time. We felt a little lied to by Cynthia because she failed to mention that, but were still excited about starting our new life there. Two days later my husband got a call from someone named Celia. No apologies, just stating that the tenant who was supposed to vacate on Sept 30, had extended to Oct 17, our move in date and that we would have to wait until the first week of november to move in. We had already set up our utilities, as per Cynthias instructions. We were also told we could come back over and pick another apartment IF they had one available. No upgrades offered due to our being inconvenienced, and not just the utilities. We took a few days off from work to move, lined up help and a truck. Not even an I’m sorry. We told them to forget it and had to stay where we are another year because our lease was almost up and there was no time to look for anything else. I do not recommend this place. The agents are extrememly unprofessional, they lie and don’t disclose everything. They also kept our 100.00 deposit, stating that the apartment date and location is not guaranteed. Then why did Cynthia demand that we set up utilities immediately. Liars.

This apartment complex is the worst! They don’t tell you but trust me, there’s pedophiles EVERYWHERE. So be careful when bringing your grand babies over! And the worst part is if they violate their probation or anything the office stands up for them and takes their sides. They pick and choose what «unauthorized» visitors are allowed to stay and which ones need to be evicted. Btw, this grass that is so beautifully landscaped and all that bs that reels you in is invested with fleas! I would never let my parents live here again, it’s disgusting and an awful place. The gym equipment is always broken, and they raise your rent every 6 months because they basically can. I’m so mad I have to give it 1 star, they deserve how they treat their residents. LIKE 0’s!!!
