Chase Bank

Tellers are wonderful. The manager is not on top of getting the long lines moving. This is the slowest branch I have been to. The manager made a comment that he has to balance issues but did not help me after a 1 hour wait. He told me to go on line and I did. He was not concerned about my issue. Call the 800 number it will help you much faster. The lines are always slow no matter what day.

So very sad. I came in because we ran out of checks before I had time to order. I put my name in, stepped out to the atm and my name was called. I ended up waiting patiently while they finished with the other customer. Over 20 minutes pass, the manager comes to get me. While preparing to place the check order, I ask for a couple of checks in case I need them while I wait for the order. They charge $ 2 per sheet.
I asked if as a courtesy he could waive the fee. We’ve never asked for checks before (almost thought they were obsolete unless it’s picture day at your child’s school).
He said no. He could not waive the fee. It’s consistent. I asked if he was sure. After all, I’m placing the check order right now, but I know it’ll take awhile to receive them.
He again says no.
I told him I’d order my checks elsewhere. We have several accounts with Chase. It was very disappointing. I may find the energy to finally switch banks.

Bad experience. But I won’t let this bad experience ruin my day. I believe in karma. Anyhow. I sign in to open account. And get skipped was told my that curly haired woman next to the bosses office, that someone else would help me. That sucks you make the time to come in and because someone feels like skipping you they make you wait another 20 min. Total of 40 minutes maybe more when we decided to walk out. We’ll be back but I’ll be sure not use this rep to open the account. She sucks. !!! She has made us think about opening this acct with this bank. But that’s just one rotten apple. All the others are fine.

Customer Service SUCKS! I to send my friend some money cuz she was in desperate need, so i was gonna send her $ 40.
Easy job, right?
Well i get to her bank, which is Chase, and i have her account number, routing number, and name.
And they said i need to get a money order to prevent Money Laundering… uuummmmm it was $ 40!!!
They made it so difficult for me, i just drove 20 mins to give her the money.
I will not be back. I understand they want to help prevent fraud and whatnot bt thats beyond ridiculous!

First off, I am not a chase member. I went to deposit $ 200 cash into someone’s Chase acct and I was not able to do so. The teller was very nice and explained to me that, the only way I would be able to put money in that acct. is if I was a chase member or used my debit card to put the money in. I was told it was in order to prevent money laundering. LOL (I DONT THINK ANYONE HAS EVER TRIED TO LAUNDER ONLY 200 BUCKS). They I was told I could go get a money order for the same amount and that would be fine, which obviously defeats the purpose of stopping money laundering. The two stars are for the teller she was very nice, it’s just a stupid chase rule that is not helping their own clients receive money.

I am really impressed with the experiences I have had at Chase bank. I needed to setup a new account and chose this bank since they are close to my house and have a drive through which is super convenient for my busy lifestyle. I walked in to the bank and was immediately greeted by a representative. I told them what I was looking to do and within seconds they had me sitting down with a rep and all taken care of. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Each time I have been in since, there has been no more than one person in line ahead of me so the wait time is next to nothing. Each teller has been very nice and accommodating. The bank is very clean, and also has water and coffee sitting out for guests. I am very happy with my experience here.

Great workers, the 1-​star is not their fault.
The 1-​star is because Chase bank charges $ 25 just for the «privilege» of having a checking account with them. That’s the highest fee in the nation for basic checking.

Great customer service. They staff up so that you don’t have to wait in line for a teller. Love that. Multiple ATMs in the lobby. And they have a drive-​up window, which I use weekly.

I used to be a WaMu client, but I moved away for a few years to where there was not a Chase branch nearby. I moved back to the area and decided to check out Chase. The banker that helped me was Abraham Acosta. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgable. He helped set up my wife and I with the accounts that we needed and really went the extra mile to welcome us and answer any questions. Chase had some pretty good deals for opening new accounts, so if you are planning to come to Chase, definitely ask for Abraham. I will be sending all my family to him.
