Artworx Print

Called Alex over at Artworx Printing, He gave me a quote over the phone but when I got an invoice it was hundreds of dollars higher than what he said initially. I called to clarify and was rudely hung up on…
With such a saturated market you would think a shop owner would go the extra mile to stand out… Unfortunately that’s not the case with Alex over at Artworx Printing. Avoid.
Update: Alex called back with a lower price after this post but I decided to go to another company that had a bit more appreciation for my time and business. Bumped my review from 1 to 2 stars.

I sent a Unilocal request for a quote. After initially getting back to me right away with preliminary information, I haven’t heard from the owner in over 6 days (after sending another request for a quote and after e-​mailing my design). I can understand not getting back to people right away when you’re super busy, but anything over 2 days is crazy. I decided to take my business elsewhere.
NOTE: the owner is now trying to accuse me of trying to smear his business after leaving an honest review. Please note that I DID directly email him outside of Unilocal,and still received no response. If you can’t handle a honest review because you cannot respond to customers in a timely fashion, then don’t be in a customer based industry.

Alex is awesome! High quality for a great price! He takes the time to make sure you know exactly what you are getting. And when you give him a deadline to get it done, he will get it done! He even let me wake him up at 8am on Saturday Morning at his house so that I could get my shirts in time for my event. Oh, and sweet PJs Alex! Will definitely work with him again.

After searching for the best price for 250 plus T-​shirts, my student leadership found and contacted Alex. Alex quoted us an awesome price we could not refuse. The shirts came out looking great and I had no complains at all. Alex communicated with me continuously as we went through the process. Art Works is definitely a professional team that cares about their products they put out. I also really enjoyed working with the Artworx Print Team. They were truly professional and funny. Amazing service. .Alex is amazing… quick turn around and great work. We ordered practice shirts for our little league team on a whim needed them quick as practices had already stared… shirts were ready in 3 days and they looked great. the price was unbeatable. First of all, I would like to say that Artworx does a phenomenal job, if it’s done right. This company has a quick turnaround time and the price is almost unbeatable. Unfortunately, there was some mishap that happened on my order.
I work for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and my unit was ordering 14 $ 110 embroidered North Face jackets. I bought the jackets separately (cost is $ 110) and went with Artworx for the embroidery part because of a recommendation from my girlfriend. Alex has already given me disclaimer that he won’t be able to replace the jackets if something were to happen to them. It’s not the greatest thing you want to hear if you’re putting your expensive jacket on the line. There’s really no guarantee but rather just a leap of faith based on the recommendations you got and the Unilocal reviews. I told him that accidents do happen but there are some actions that can be done to minimize damages. I even told him not to rush.
I got the jackets back after about 7 days and inspected it but didn’t find anything and Alex did not mention anything. I thought everything was fine until I distributed the jackets to my staff. One of them noticed that the opposite sleeve of their jacket had initial embroidery that was removed and was re-​embroidered on the right one leaving the wrong sleeve with needle holes in the shape of the letters. It was starting to get perforated because of the damage done by the needle.
I called him up and told him the situation and that it could have been avoided if the problem was communicated back to me. I would have opted to have the embroidery stay on the wrong side of the sleeve instead of removing it. He said that who ever did the embroidery did not communicate the problem back to him so it wasn’t addressed. He only apologized and did not offer anything else. He mentioned that if I ordered the jackets or shirts through him, he would have replaced it no questions asked. But since I bought the jacket outside, he’s not able to do anything about it. The problem would’ve been an easy fix and because of this lack of communication, one staff member is now wearing a jacket with a perforated sleeve. He was still professional about it. Unfortunately, Unilocal review is overall a review of quality of services and I’m obligated to mention this little mishap and make this experience as transparent as possible. At the end of the day, it’s the service that counts and what ended is a jacket with a mistake. This review is just an overall experience from one customer and should take it with a grain of salt.

There is a reason Artworx has so many five-​star reviews, and that is because Alex provides five-​star service!
I used one of those online screen printing companies to get some shirts made, because they were cheap. Well, you get what you pay for. I ordered three shirts and one of them could not be printed for some lame reason.
So, with only a week until a very important party (the shirts were gifts and I was short by one person) I had to scramble to find somebody local who could fill my order. I searched Unilocal and came across all these great reviews for Artworx, and I was not disappointed.
Alex was very professional and courteous over the phone. I explained my situation and he understood my dilemma. I sent him my design via email and he even quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone. I dropped the shirt off on a Monday (I needed it by the following Saturday) and it was done by Friday! PLUS, in the middle of the week on Wednesday, I ended up needing a banner made as well. I called Alex and asked if he could add it to my order, and he said the banner would be ready by Friday and I could pick it up with my shirt at the same time!
I would recommend Alex and Artworx for all your printing and design needs. He is efficient, courteous, and a great person to work with!

I needed a vinyl banner and a stand-​up sign for my vendor tent. The sign company I usually go to was not helpful at all – they couldn’t figure out what I wanted. I found Alex through Unilocal reviews and he immediately knew exactly what I needed. He made a stand-​up sign, a banner to go across the top of the tent, and also a dozen T-​shirts with my logo. He was both knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I was happy with the quality of the products and with the very reasonable price.

Alex is the man! He takes the time to get to know the customer and will go the extra mile for you. He takes pride in what he does and will satisfy you’re need! My brother and I went to several different t-​shirt business in the area to compare prices. We wanted to order 30 t-​shirt and we needed them in 10 days. Artworx was the cheapest plus we loved the service. Alex gave us an estimate and several different options on the type of shirts we could use. He sent me a mock up before printing the t-​shirts to make sure he got the design right. We enjoyed working with him!

So incredibly thrilled that we found Artworx and Alex! We had an incredibly important item that needed to be screen printed in a very short period of time. Alex nailed the delivery time and we were absolutely thrilled with the quality of printing, it exceeded our expectations and even our hopes :) Very much recommend!

These guys were great. I gave them a few things I needed on our shirts and they ran with it. Came out great. And pretty cheap. I’ll definitely use them again. Oh and super fast.

I am a Storyteller and needed to publicize my up coming concert. Artworx helped create an impressive flyer for the next event, and printed copies of my basic handout flyer at a fraction of Kinko’s prices! The Alex, the owner, was very helpful and samples of his creativity were impressive. I shall be using ARTWORX for all my Graphic Design and Printing needs!

I used Artworx to reprint some menus for my Pizza Restaurant. Not only was the price fair (and believe me I did my homework!) but the turn-​around time and most importantly the QUALITY was fantastic! I highly recommend Artworx to anyone needing any print work done. I’m having them print our T-​Shirts next! Great company, stellar service!
