History

Established in 1985.

The year was 1969, Mike Allec had been driving a truck for a living; after 11 years he decided to venture out on his own. In 1972 Mike relocated to Riverside and started Allec Materials & Trucking, Inc. The business had been operating out of a small building for three years and he noticed there was vacant land across the street that seemed to be a much better fit. In 1975 Mike purchased 33 undeveloped acres in Riverside and established three businesses on 12 of those acres.

After having established businesses and becoming well known in his community, Mike built Allec Self Storage on five more of those acres in 1984. Fulfilling his vision of providing an affordable, secure and trustworthy storage facility Allec Self Storage opened for business in December of 1985. 27 years later Allec Self Storage has set itself apart as steadfast and strong.
