Popular pies include pulled pork (pulled pork, cheddar cheese, onion, corn, chipotle ranch) and chipotle bbq chicken (bbq grilled chicken, red onion, pecorino, cheddar, chipotle ranch). The wine sold on site is produced in state and can compete in quality with the other 49 states and 37 other countries. Ventimiglia Vineyard has received many international awards and we are happy to make it available to you right inside our restaurant.

History

Established in 2008.

We started off soley as a mobile wood fired oven catering company. We served the tristate area for years with the highest quality pizza and wood fired oven specialties. We then expanded into homemade Italian Ices and Spumoni from Brooklyn. Then expanded our catering business in Old Bridge, NJ into a catering hall. Now we have opened the long awaited wood fired oven bistro in Riverdale. We are very excited. You can purchase a great bottle of Ventimiglia Vineyard wine and eat your favorite pizza all in the same store. Then finish it with one of our delicious desserts! We cant wait to make you happy!

This place is A MUST TRY The reviews were all good, so we wanted to explore. We had 2 kinds of wings (Sriracha-lime and lemon-garlic), bolognese pizza, truffle shuffle pizza, and lastly the coconut caramel trifle. No kidding, best dessert EVER. Pizza was amazing, the crust was perfect. Perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The wings melted off the bone… Will definitely be back. I would highly recommend going here. BYOB or they offer some NJ wineries. Can’t wait to try the ribs next time; they look awesome.

My kids and I tried Coney Island pizza based on the Unilocal reviews. The flavor of the crust and the sauce were great but there was very little cheese on the 2 pizza’s we ordered. The margherita pizza had very little cheese. The meatball impasta was good but there was no ricotta on the pizza. My kids did not like that the bottom of the pizza was very floury.
The Caesar salad was very good! The pizza sizes are small too if you’re serving a big crowd order more pies. I would recommend ordering extra cheese.

I’ve tried the Truffle Shuffle pizza and it was delicious but it was quite expensive compared to the size of the pie. It was a little personal pie for $ 13.50. The size was very small and the amount of ingredients on the pie was a little skimpy. I would suggest going with a few people and sharing a number of menu items rather than expecting one dish to fill you up.
That said, the food is really good.

I’m a totally fussy pizza snob. I have found my obsession for pizza here for sure!
Had dinner here last night for my husband’s birthday. Our server was so sweet (sorry, I can’t remember her name).
Only disappointment was the fact there were 6 asparagus spears– $ 8– overpriced but tasty. Fresh mozzarella and tomatoes looked good.
I don’t eat meat, but everyone loved the meatballs and pizza verde (with arugula and prosciutto). We had margherita, white and special mushroom pizza as well. (we ate a lot– 5 adults and only one slice of pizza left over!). The crust is thin and so tasty!
Had two desserts which were both specials of the night– 2 orders of the cookie dough cannoli (a deconstructed dessert served in a glass– very, very good) and a poached pear and vanilla ice cream– good. Wish they had a birthday candle for my husband’s birthday– hint, hint… can get them cheap at the supermarket or dollar store!
We have come here for dinner several times– the special pizzas of the day ARE special– and we only wish we lived closer. Never disappointed!

In an area like this, this place was a gem. It’s an easy to miss location, but that’s almost what makes it special. Their brick oven pizza was a combo of what you would find in a Brooklyn pizzeria (hence coney island pizzeria?) and a nj one (san marzano sauce). Excellent. Fresh. Flavorful. How brick oven should be done. Anti crust eaters would eat the crust. To top it off, they sell wine (by the bottle, but nonetheless, local nj wine). FYI the blood orange sangria is non alcoholic (disappointed by you Unilocalsters for not forewarning).
I’m actually offended by every other pizzeria within a 5 mile radius of me after I found this place. I’m not giving it 5 stars bc ambience matters to me, but I have very high standards, however I recommend trying this place.
We got the pizza with clams and the Margherita pie-delicious.

I have been here several times and ordered a variety of things each time, never have I been disappointed. Their Popeye pizza is to die for, and their specials are amazing too. I tried their clams which were so good that me and my friends fought for the last few. The dessert pizzas are out of this world too; it’s one of the only foods my grandma requests from time to time. I don’t even like cannolis and they were delicious here. Definitely worth the visit

This is a great, brick oven pizza place. I have tried the margherita, white clam, pizza verde, and buffalo chicken pizzas. My favorites are the pizza verde and white clam but I don’t think you can go wrong at this place. I also had their wings which are amazing. It’s a little pricey but they are a byob which helps with the price. They do sell a few types of wine if you forget to bring something. The service was great, and everything was delicious! I can’t wait to go back.

Not too bad.. The pizza itself is good, but it’s severely overpriced for the size of the pizza… They do deliver, to my neck of the woods anyways. Probably won’t order again from here, but just because you really don’t get good bang for your buck. Only tried the pizza, and if they lower their prices or make their pizza’s bigger, I’ll order again. Recommended, just not highly recommended.

Mmmmmm Mmmmmm good! We ordered a pizza and salad and had it delivered. I actually ordered using Unilocal’s Eat 24 app and it said it was going to take about an hour and it actually took less than that!
The pizza was the asparagus, cheese, and sun dried tomatoes (shuffle truffle). It was good, just a small pie for the amount of money. But it was yummy. The crust was delicious!!! The salad was the Ramstein which had feta, chick peas and such with a spicy dressing. The dressing had such a kick so if you’re not a fan of spice get a different dressing. Both were delicious and highly recommend.

Wow! Amazing pizza! A few friends and I are going hiking and boating at Greenwood Lake area, so I did a search for lunch places on the way up and i am sooooo happy i found this place on Unilocal!The restaurant is not big and we were the only table, it was 1ish on Sunday, Memorial Day wknd. Our waitress was really sweet and adorable, she was new and jus turned 21. Everything we had was great! The sangria was exactly what we needed to kick off the trip and the sriracha lemon wings were delicious!
We each ordered a pie. The pulled pork was our favorite, love the chipolet ranch sauce! White clam, summer bbq, margarita and truffle shuffle were all very tasty! Def comparable, if not better than some of the pizza joints in the city. We finished with their banana trifle! Yummmmmmmm… again, I’m so happy i found this place! Can’t wait to come again!

I came here to pick up dinner last night and it was packed, always a good sign. I had the margherita pizza and a buffalo chicken flatbread sandwich to go.
Pizza was perfect and the sauce was delicious, and most importantly, I really liked the dough. I believe all pies on the menu are 12 inches, which in my opinion is the perfect size if you want to keep yourself from eating more pizza than you should. I thought the flatbread was alright, it tasted good but didn’t have enough chicken/blue cheese.
I can’t wait to try the other pizzas on the menu, they all sound awesome. Love that this place is unsuspecting but a real gem! A step up from your average pizzeria.

Wood fired pizza made with fresh ingredients… what’s not to like? I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and Popeye Pizza to go. The pizzas are bigger than a personal pie so definitely one is more than enough for one person (depending on how big your appetite may be). Even the crust was delicious… it appeared to be seasoned with something making it nice and flavorful. I literally ate the whole thing… no shame!
Service is great too! Everyone that works there is so friendly and nice (shouts to Dave for the suggestions on what to order).
My only lament is that I’ve been driving by this place for so long and haven’t stopped in to try it until now. I definitely plan to make up for lost time next time I get a hankering for pizza!

I’ve never really been a big fan of pizza outside of New York, but this place is pretty damn good. Great friendly staff as well.
We had the lime sriracha wings and meatball sliders to start… both were excellent. Great amount of heat from the wings.
For pizzas we had the chipotle chicken and the truffle shuffle. Everyone liked the chipotle, but we were pretty split on the truffle. I actually thought it was great with the goat cheese and asparagus, but could have done with fresh arugula instead of the sun-dried tomatoes. The crusts on both pizzas came out excellent… perfect consistency.
If you’re traveling on the 23 it’s definitely worth it to make the slight detour to check this place out.

Super good pizza and very unique options. The wood fired oven is a nice cozy touch. Thought it was a tad overpriced (not too bad) for the size of the pizza and the type of seating offered.
Very good just a little tough on the wallet for pizza. I give the owner a lot of credit for bringing this unique food to the area.
