Bubbles & Bones

Decided to try this place out for the first time because of its proximity to my house. I arrived first thing in the morning and immediately noticed that the place was a mess. Dog hair all over the floor, empty treat jars with crumbs in them, all the products for sale were dusty and disorganized, baking flour and cooking products next to the grooming products. Paperwork stacked in piles near the grooming area. While the woman who greeted us was friendly, I was uneasy leaving my puppy there because of how messy and dirty the place was. Against my better judgement, I left him. Impressively, less than an hour and a half later they called me to get him. When I picked him up he looked great (which is why I gave them two stars) and he seemed OK but I didn’t get any details on how he handled his first grooming when I asked. The young girl at the register was also bit cold and unfriendly.
The real problem started about three days later when puppy started violently scratching his ear and shaking his head. A $ 200 trip to the vet later and he had a double ear yeast infection likely caused by water getting in his ears.
Needless to say, we will not be returning again and don’t recommend this place. They really should consider cleaning up their act (literally).

I have to write this review even though I don’t go to bubbles and bones anymore. I live in California now and didn’t realize how great this place was until I couldn’t find another place like it here. They were
So loving and careful with my dog who hates his paws getting touched or anything. And when I used to go pick him up, he would be in a playpen. Not a cage which I really really appreciated as my dog as anxiety about cages. This was the best dog groomer I ever had and I totally took it for granted! Trust me, they will be gentle and kind to your fur baby!

Great, great, great! Very friendly & professional staff. Very clean and large space. They take the time to understand exactly how you want your dog groomed and then do a wonderful job grooming them. All the dogs there always look happy and they each get their own large area after grooming instead of being put in crates like they do at some other groomers.

Bubbles and Bones is as good as it gets. I had to find a new groomer after moving to the area and I was worried after having some sub-​par experiences along the way. No need to fear with Bubbles and Bones – they are professional, kind, courteous, and great at dealing with even the most fearful or shy dogs. When you walk in, the employees and the dogs that are in for the day are all hanging out happily as they do their work – the dogs stay in the same room with everyone while they wait for their owners, so there’s none of the scary vet-​like isolation that happens at some places. There are also a bunch of very cute dog accessories and treats for sale – next time I go, I’m planning on shopping a bit for a new collar! Grooming is well-​priced for the excellent service that you get, and they take their time to do it right and work at a pace that’s comfortable for the dog. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is! They truly go above and beyond to make both owner and pet completely comfortable and happy with the experience.

Great place. My dogs, and the others I see there always seem ok with getting a bath. Which was not the case other places. Very friendly with customers and canines alike.

Love this place! I called for a last-​minute appointment for my Yorkie today, and they were able to fit her in later in the day. The space is immaculate, and each pup gets a private gated-​off area with a bed when the grooming is done.
There was a bit of a wait when I arrived, but then Michele, the groomer, came out and went over everything I wanted done in detail, carefully writing everything down. When I picked my dog up, she was perfectly groomed and tail-​waggingly happy – not shaky/​nervous as she sometimes is when I take her to a new place.
Prices are fair and it’s obvious that your dog is lovingly handled here. Highly recommended!
