The recent heavy rains, in particular the one the day of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, left us with a bit of water in our otherwise always dry basement. It was enough water to require me to pull up the carpet and remove the wet pad. I needed new pad and the carpet ‘re-​stretched.’ Unfortunately, it was in the most complicated area of the basement and I feared the worst. Had I known about John of JD Carpet Services, LLC at the time, I would have had no fear. But I didn’t know John then but now I do and I’m glad I called him. He did a great job at a very fair price. JD Carpet Services, LLC is John. Which I like. I agree with Ariel G., don’t call a service, call John. He cares and knows what he’s doing. Although John’s work for us was in the area of repair, I’d call him for sure for a new installation.

John was very professional from the first phone call to the end of the job. He was able to get the wrinkles out that had been there for years. The carpet looks great. I wish I would have called him a long time ago. I would definitely recommend John and use him again.

What a gem! John is a carpet master and can help in any situation. On his website it says «Professional Awareness Towards Customer Satisfaction“and by the end of the repair it went above and beyond what we could’ve even hoped for in the repairs. The carpet looked exactly as it had in the beginning. Don’t call a service, call someone who genuinely cares, is hands on, and really listens to your needs.

We had a few areas of carpet upstairs that had to be re-​stretched. They were in more troublesome areas such as in between doors and at the end of an odd shaped hallway. I called around and got a few quotes. One was too low to be believable. Another was way to high (hundreds of dollars) and most were around the same price range. I couldn’t find any reviews of John online, but decided to go with John because he was prompt in returning my call and seemed knowledgeable. He mentioned that he learned from his dad and has been doing carpet for 20+ years. Most importantly, his price was also very reasonable without being suspiciously low.
John came out two days later and did a great job. He was able to re-​stretch the carpet without opening the seams (which another person said would need to be done). If anyone is in need of carpet restretching or repairs, I’d definitely recommend John. I would certainly use him again. He also mentioned that he does new carpet sales/​installation so I’ll probably get a quote from him when we decide to replace our carpet.
