History

Established in 1982.

The business was started by 2 local couples in an officespace that had been home to another thriving agency. The current owner, Maureen Wilkinson, was employed by them since the start. Maureen took over the agency in 2000. There have been a few changes since then, The biggest being the move from the street front windows to an inner office space. What hasn’t changed are the people. Joyce Stockholm has also been associated with Acorn since 1983. Meta has been here since 1999 and Carol since 2009.
