Pro Nails

Don’t know about the rest of you but I’ve been trying to get this place on the phone all morning. It just keeps ringing and then I finally get something telling me to put in my access code, give me a break is his a damn business or not?

This is still my favorite place for myself and my elderly mom. Ann and staff are always warm and caring with mom and the services are excellent, consistent and reasonably priced. There is a wait at times but nothing unreasonable with an appointment. The hygiene is impeccable and the chairs up to date. I have tried several other places in town but find Pro Nails to be the place that I receive the most for the money.

This is the first review I feel compelled to give. I have given Ann and Dana from pro nails a second chance but, I don’t think I will go back. Besides the fact that I have told many people to go there and, given them a lot of business.
I was upset with them because once again they have no system for appointments. You always end up waiting! I asked Ann why she does not hire another gal to work when obviously they have enough patrons coming in to warrant that extra person. Dana and Ann both got a little irate with me and said she can’t afford to do that. So I said to her she was losing business because I personally have friends that have gone there that cannot deal with that issue. She said I don’t care! She says I know how to run a business! In my mind, if you have a business like that, you should treat people with respect and part of that respect is honoring an appointment that we as a customer give them the courtesy to do! They will take every walk in, inspite of the appointments that are sitting waiting. If you have nothing else to do, good place for you!
Let’s see how long they stay in town! Get a clue!!!

So I went to pro nail spa today to have my nails done. I had the worst experience of my life there. I always get the powder tip done on my nails. I have been to many place all over the US to get my nails done and this was the worst. I tried to explain to the lady that she needed to add more powder because the was places that had none. She kept saying there’s nothing she could do. she said it will look better when she’s done. So I let her finish and at the end I still wasn’t happy with what she did. I tried to explain again that I was not happy with the work she had done. All she said was I can’t do anything. Then proceeded to say you pay or I call the police. I told her I didn’t feel that I should pay full price for something she didn’t do right. She just kept say I can’t do anything. So I asked her do you always do half ass work and expect people to pay full price? She said yes and again told me you pay or I call the police. Getting more and more mad about how she was being rude I paid the bill. I am not happy with the work that was done here. I would not recommend anyone go to this nail shop unless you want to be treated like crap. Both women that work there are very rude. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail shop. I am very upset with the way I was treated and the way I was talked to by these two women.

Love Anna and Diana, always have been treated great here. Always treated with kindness and respect. And lots of compassion when dealing with my daughters Ingrown nails.

She rates it 2 stars out of 5.
Pros — This place is very clean compared to most nail salons she’s been to.
Cons — Extreme rudeness exhibited by both of the nail ladies who were working. Zero thanks, zero pleasantness, zero hospitality, zero professionalism. From the details my mom is telling me, it sounds like these women were downright witchy and rude. I am upset with this salon for making my mom’s experience of receiving a manicure and pedicure, which SHOULD be a luxurious thing, an unpleasant one.
Upon reading the other reviews about this salon, my mom agrees with the one star reviews.
Knowing what my mom has experienced, as well as other unfortunate women, you can rest assured that I will NEVER set foot into this nail salon. EVER!

I went here for a pedicure and it was $ 35!!! Crazy! They were so rude to me because I guess I hopped in the chair «the wrong way». What a joke and how belittling. I will never go back there, and I will tell others to do the same!

My husband gift to my daughter 6 year old and myself was a gift certificate to this business, I get there a couple mins late the older women was extremely rude (place was not busy at all) told me «come tomorrow «was rude so I asked for a refund she refused, she acted like we’ll maybe we can fit you in walked away, my daughter and myself sat down 15 mins later she. comes up and tells me «I don’t like what you people are wearing» I was dress appropriate gives me my refund and approiaptlyays rudely happy valentine’s day, I couldn’t believe it, I’m not one to complain, all the other nail places I have gone to so down to earth, I was blessed to get my money back to my daughter to a place called classy nails they got me in fast and we’re very polite, thus place deserves no. stars they are rude! You are warned!

It is hard to review this business because I have never been able to try their service. I have tried many times to get a manicure and pedicure but they are never open. If I show up for a morning appointment the place is empty far past the advertised times. I then tried the late afternoon and found it closed 90 minutes early. I could understand this once or twice, but this has happened so many times I have decided to give up permanently.

Extremely rude. I brought my 11 year old daughter for a manicure as I waited about 30 minutes for my pedicure… possibly 1 hour. Even though I called before I came and they said 10 minutes. My daughter was obviously done before I was. There were 3 empty pedicure massage chairs so I told her to sit in one and try out the massage. I told her to not put her feet in the basin. The 2 ladies worming Ana and Diana both kept staring at her until finally one of them walked over to my daughter and told her not to sit there. She was doing nothing wrong. I was offended that they didn’t tell me, her mother. I will not return.

They treat an appointment like a walk in so you end up waiting a long time regardless if you called ahead… the past several times ive been here they’ve cut me and they’re pretty pricey ($ 70 for French pedi and gel nails) even though before they started they told me it would be way less. Never again.

So rude!!! I got yelled out because I got in the massage chair from the wrong side. At first I honestly thought she was joking but I had my sunglasses on and watched her continue to shake her head and talk about me with her client. I was so embarrassed but didn’t walk out because I didn’t want to make a scene.

Avoid at all cost! The absolute worst customer service. They are unbelievably rude! I do not know how anyone would ever be a repeat customer. Pedicures are sub-​standard and it’s over priced. Spend your money elsewhere!

No. The rudest salon in the area. The lady yelled at me because I pointed to my nail. She wanted me to «make up my mind». I asked her why she was yelling at me. She said you pointed at me. Yelled at me. The worst customer service I’ve had. Sky nails is wonderful and I will be going back. M
As I was sitting there, I was reading all of that Unilocal reviews which completely agree with what I’m saying. Afterward, I did not want her to paint my nails, and I asked her if she read the reviews. She said yes, and that she didn’t care. I guess if you have nothing but time, and cash only, you can look forward to a nasty experience.

Had a 1:00 appointment and was totally ignored until I got up and left at 1:30. No way their credit card machine is «recently broken», it’s been a YEAR! Tired of my time being disrespected so I am DONE for good. I found another place in Manteca that I will use for now

I wish I could write a bad review for this place, because maybe then it wouldn’t be so crowded! It seems like everyone in Ripon is realizing that this is the place to go.
Everytime I am in town my mom and I come here to get a mani/​pedi. They do great gel mani’s that last for weeks even with rough wear and tear. My toes look fantastic for about a month with french tips. Clean and friendly for sure.
PS, they say their credit card machine is «down» but it «hasn’t worked» for months. Cash or check only my friends!

Three stars because although they give great pedicures, service is poor. An appointment will be treated the same as a walk-​in. Worth the wait if you’ve got time.

I used to be extremely loyal to this place. The owners even knew me by name. If it were one year ago I would have given it 6 stars. It is the cleanest Vietnamese nail salon I’ve ever been to. The ambiance is perfect, it’s relaxing and their pedicures are the best I’ve ever had.
What has unfortunately caused me to rate Pro Nails with such a low score is their customer service and negligence to honor appointment times. Over the past year they must have just got really busy and have no idea how to manage their time. If you make an appointment, just assume you’re a walk in. They will not say no to any person who walks in and do not give realistic wait times. My sister and I made appointments one day two hours before we came in, when we arrived, they let us know they were running a little behind. One hour and 15 minutes later with no care to check in with us or say sorry, we decided to just leave. I don’t know if I can ever go back. I was just so infuriated.
Sadly I can no longer recommend Pro Nails. It is hard to find a clean, affordable place that delivers a great spa experience. Even though Pro Nails meets these spa expectations, inability to manage is more memorable than the quality of their nail services. I do not have all day to just wait around and not be treated as a respected client.

I’d give zero stars if possible but it’s not. Place is TERRIBLE and the customer service is basically non-​existent. This place has little to no regard for the customer in my personal experience. Don’t bother making an appointment because they won’t honor it and they won’t apologize for it. What they seem to me to do is understaff the place so they don’t end up paying enough people. So if they’re running behind (and they will be) they’ll either make you wait or, if they already started you, just hurry through whatever they are doing (pedicure, etc.) for you to make room for the next person.
They aren’t in any way friendly or hospitable. They seem to have no idea that customer service is important or what the idea means. The quality of their work is mediocre. Also, they have this sign out, something to the effect of under new management or ownership, maybe because they have so many complaints. But that sign, I believe, has been out for at least six months or really more like a year or more. Point: same old lousy management. This place is really horrible. I highly recommend you don’t waste you money or your time here when there are so many other decent salons around.

Went here for a pedicure. LOVED it. Felt respected not talked about in another language. Treated me very well offered a bottle of water. NICE added touch.
Little more money than others, but I will pay for a better quality during visit.
Will be back
