Mostly, I am a fan. I go here frequently because the pedicures are affordable($ 25) and usually the staff will do a good job, and really focus on giving a good foot and leg massage. The last few times have left me a little upset, however. The guy that works there(I think he’s the owner, or the husband of an owner) has done my pedicure the last three times I was there and every time the pedicure has been shorter and shorter. Today I sat down in the spa chair AFTER the person I came with sat down and my pedicure was done before hers. In fact, I looked at the clock. From start to finish it was 30 minutes. My polish was dry before the other person was finished with her massage. It seems like every time I go to him the pedicures are getting shorter and shorter and he is rushing through it to get to the next client. He actually messed up today and had to redo the polish on one foot and was huffing and puffing that he had to go back and fix it. I almost said that if he wasn’t in such a hurry he wouldn’t have smudged it in the first place. He needs to take his time. I deserve the hour I am paying for. The bottoms of my feet don’t feel very soft and my legs don’t feel very relaxed from the massage. I think next time I will ask to see someone else – that is, if I go there again. Tip: avoid going here on really hot days. They don’t turn on the air conditioner and it gets sweaty hot in there. They don’t take credit cards either.

First time I went in was for a broken nail. The owner fixed for FREE… Yes I said free… Super cool!!! Next time I went I received the Mandarin-Citrus Spa pedicure… Heavenly is all I can say… The best pedicure I have received and I have had a lot… All in all new to Rio Vista but super friendly, clean and the spa chairs are to die for… Great salon and new addition to Rio Vista’s business community.
