I love tummys!!! Every time I come back to California that’s one of first places I go! Wish we had a tummys in Arizona

Came here for a quick lunch after we walked the bike path trail. It was around noon and no one was inside. Most orders were to go. The girls who worked that day were nice and the sammies were ok. We got turkey avacodo bacon. A little too much mayo but other than that it was fine. Tables and benches are for seating not the most comfortable so I’d probably take my order to go if I came back.

Happened to be in the Rio Linda area on business and wanted a sandwich. Well, day old bread too much mayo, not enough veggies, little meat. Wrong choice, live and learn.

«AWESOME Sandwiches, blended coffee drinks and GREAT customer service» No franchise sub shop can come close. I Love Tummy’s Sub Shop and I go several times a week ;-)

Their hot pastrami is good when they don’t give you left over meat. The last time I went here, the hot pastrami meat was not red, but reddish brown and tasted old. What a shame because the previous 6 or so sandwiches I bought were great. Maybe they wanted to try to re-use the meat? Anyway, I probably will try this place again, but one more strike and they are out.

Ordered the hot pastrami. Nothing but average. Kind of pricey. I’d much rather go to togo’s or subway. Will not be returning.

I hadn’t had Tummy’s in years so I decided to give it a try. The inside was the same as I remembered it. It’s a small town sub shop, but very clean. The food could’ve been a lot better, especially for the price you’re paying. The turkey was very processed and had a slimy feel to it. I feel if you’re paying close to $ 8 for a sandwich it should be good quality. The service was fast and friendly which was a plus. And they still carry the best ice!

Was there yesterday. It’s not the Tummys I remember. I had the 12in meatball sandwich it was awful. There was way to. much cheese on it and not enough red sauce on it. Guess my clue should have been they only had white bread.

The only this I have noticed is that both times I’ve been here, only one person behind the counter so it takes a few to get served when multiple people are in line. The sandwiches on the other hand kick ass!!! I’ll keep coming back regardless!

I grew up in Rio Linda, but had never been to Tummy’s until a couple of months ago. Boy was I happy I stopped in! And I’ve gone back over and over! Super friendly staff, delicious sandwiches, piled high with all the fixins, and competitive prices. 100 times better than Subway!

Got the 6″ combo meal with turkey! The sandwich was well packed and bread was fresh. The 2 Mexican girls working there were friendly and had good recommendations! I can see there is tons of variety as far as items go. Breakfast items lunch items and even beer! «I’d come back for more!»

Best sandwiches in town, hands down! I get a Turkey and Cheese and it never disappoints! The sandwich is always stacked with meat and the produce is fresh. I pay extra for the peppercini’s, and I don’t mind one bit! The potato salad is to die for! It is made fresh and not out of a container. The costumer service is simply amazing. I have walked in to smiling and happy faces and that is one of the many reasons I will continue to go back. *Don’t forget to get a soda! Styrofoam cups+crushed ice+mr.pibb=LOVE!*

I like dives, and dislike franchises. Tummy’s has real friendly hospitable service. The ladies are cool. The décor was clean and comfortable. A nice place to stop in for a quick eat. I ordered a Philly cheese stake and asked for double the provolone cheese and asked them to charge me for the extra cheese. I also ordered potato salad and a slurpee. The bread was that yucky under cooked doughy type. Lets face it, the key to a successful sandwich is the bread. It makes or brakes the sandwich shop’s reputation. This was the worst bread I have experienced in a decade. The meat and onions were cooked in a microwave. The flavor was good, for a microwave, but they totally forgot the extra cheese and put way too much mayo, which causes the sandwich contents to slide out of the yucky bread when you take a bite. Since the bread wasn’t toasted and doughy raw it also became soggy dough quickly; a complete disappointment. The potato salad was heavy on the mustard spice and yet lacked flavor; lacked fresh flavor. We all know fresh ingredients is key to success and DOESNOTCOSTMORE. This totally tasted like they bought a bulk container of potato salid and put it into individual plastic containers. Why would anyone be so LAZY and offer this? Another disappointment. The slurpee was total liquid on the bottom and raw ice on top; it was not mixed. So the straw just sucked up the liquid and the ice stayed inside the cup till there is nothing but ice in the cup. That’s not a slurpee, that cold syrup. Another great disappointment. Bottom line, they make nothing. Its all processed foods thrown together in a microwave for $ 15. Its certain this business will not be open for long if they do not change their PRODUCTSTRATEGY any time soon. A BUSINESSSTRATEGY based upon overpriced below mid-tier processed foods is doomed to FAIL. Yes, I would rather go to a franchise than experience this again; its that DISAPPOINTING. With all the restaurant TV shows telling restaurant owners not to resell preprocessed foods, you think folks would try to do better. I hope this review will be a blessed wake-up call to start making changes in their product strategy. Because the place is clean, and well organized, I know they are not lazy, so lets get with it ladies, and get better artisan bread, or make it yourself. Start making sides that are fresh where people crave to come back here. I would love to come back in a few months and then rewrite this review; that is, if you’re still in business…
