History

Established in 1996.

Originally open in central Georgia on the Oconee Rivers we moved to Effingham County, GA in 2000 to provide trips on Ebenezer creek, Savannah and Ogeechee Rivers. Trips are provided by appointment to insure a more comfortable outing for small to large groups.

Backwater Expeditions is dedicated to proving quality outings that are family friendly. Backwater Expeditions is a full service outfitter and has an extensive optional service list to accommodate the most demanding clients.

Outings can be designed to handle corporate, social or religious group. We can also accommodate production services.
