Friendly Staff, Great place to study and grab a bite to eat. Many tables available the times I’ve gone. Nice to see a place like this in the area!!!

Great coffee spot with a lot to choose from and decent quick bites I’ve had a sandwich, sweet treat and salad. For me I’ll probably stick to the drinks but every friend and family member I’ve brought here has enjoyed the drinks and food. Good wifi and always excellent customer service and staff! Can get busy but there are a bunch of tables and window spaces inside with outlets all around or a few tables outside.

I actually loved my experience at The Spot. It’s a must-go coffee place if you’re ever in Ridgewood. I ordered a chi latte and absolutely loved it. With it’s chill atmosphere, It becomes the perfect place to either read a book or work on your computer. Plus: free wifi — just ask for the password! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food looked delicious. Just wish everyone knew about this coffee shop because it sure is the perfect SPOT(pun intended).

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Coffee is outstanding, wifi is super fast, and the staff is always super welcoming. I’ve never had any of their food/baked goods but they look pretty appetizing. Last time I was here right before they were closing, I was treated to a banana with whipped cream & chocolate syrup! The owner really understands customer service. Definitely recommend this place!

Lovely & spacious café with blazingly fast free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, serving up organic coffee & tea, delicious bakery goodies, fresh sandwiches & salads! One of my top favorite cafes to come sit and relax at, meet up with old friends and make new friends! The Owners are very friendly and always greet you with a welcoming smile and a pleasant conversation.

This is a very nice spot to have a great coffee. We usually come with our 1 year old and they are so polite and always make sure our son is having a great time(and give him free cookies) The owners are very friendly! Would refer this to everyone

Their cold brew iced coffee and sammys are pretty darn awesome. Definitely a nice and chilled out spot that Ridgewood needs. The owners also are pretty cool… thanks Joseph for the dessert! Definitely recommend stopping by.

Awesome place. Great staff. Very friendly. Great vibe. The cold brew is delish and a good price. Haven’t tried their food yet, but it always smells amazing. Overall, it’s a lovely little retreat on a ridgewood afternoon or morn. If your in the neighborhood, definitely check it out.

I live in the neighborhood and was really hopeful that The Spot would be a go-to spot. It’s certainly not a bad place to do some laptop work, but there are some strange things about it, the least of which is the fact that the owner(s) are always lurking around. At times, they’re helpful and serve customers but most often they’re sitting in the café just looking around awkwardly or doing paperwork. Pros: –it’s a café on the eastern side of Ridgewood without much competition –the fresh-squeezed OJ is awesome –strong, reliable wifi signal Cons: –management casts a strange specter and do not seem to get along with the staff, which is constantly turning over. I don’t think I’ve seen the same barista in the the last 6 weeks. which sheds light on the inconsistent service and food/drink prep –food prep concerns: they rarely seem to wear gloves and don’t seem to wash their hands before preparing sandwiches and bagels… yuck. –owners are often outside smoking and the front door is kept open, which makes for an unpleasant experience in the café. –there are a host of regulars that camp out — taking over huge tables and holding court. –the menu changes often, like they’re making it up as they go along. All in all, it’s a pretty solid place to work if you have low expectations about the food and coffee quality and can deal with the array of weirdos(owners and regulars) that hang around.

Really great interior, friendly staff, never tried the sandwiches, but it’s always clean and quiet. They recently added an ashtray outside, which is disappointing because I liked sitting outside and now it’s crowded with smokers. Also, it’s awesome because they have coldbrew. COLDBREW in Ridgewood Queens! Glad to finally have an awesome café around here. It also doesn’t hurt that the owner is very attractive … I mean nice.

Definitely has some improving to do but will remain my favorite coffee spot in the neighborhood. Not crowded and has wifi. It’s nice and cozy, I can come w a friend and chat, or just come in alone and do some work on my laptop. The high top bar and chairs right by the window are perfect for some studying. Having managerial experience for years, I can say that they should work on the drinks being constant in presentation and taste in-between all employees. The Italian gentlemen definitely makes them best, I don’t know about the others. I tried to nicely correct them one time when they gave me something that was supposed to be a cappuccino .I was just frowned upon.

If I lived in the area I this might be my main coffee shop. I sat in here for several hours(on a Friday afternoon) and never felt crowded out or rushed. If you’re the type who works in cafes this is a great choice, lots of outlets and seating! I just got a drip coffee but it tasted fresh. The staff is nice too. Will probably drop by again next time I’m in Ridgewood

I was introduce to this place because my friend live in the neighborhood. The place is very good for chillin’ for a little bit with friends, a place where you can read and do some writing. I’m more use to grab and go style of time square, this place is not meant for that, it’s more of a place where you can just enjoy the moment. I enjoy mocha and the sandwich, Brie is one o of the cheese they use, and it’s pretty amazing because Brie is my favorite. I will try to bring more people to check the place out but I don’t know if I’m going to encourage them to come back, because for me on my personal point of view, I don’t know what it is but I’m looking for something more. Something that will make you want to come back, not just because I’m in the neighborhood but because it’s the place to be.

I’m so glad to have this new small business in the area. It has become my favorite coffee spot. The baked goods are fresh and the coffee is served at just the right temperature. The design reminds me of a European coffee bar. People use the WiFi for that NYC vibe coffee spot. If you are in the area, this place is a must for coffee.
