Watch out, this place is not reliable. After only a few months of renting a unit here, my rent was raised unexpectedly. I’ve had many storage units and it is not common practice to raise rents on existing customers. The staff are very courteous and helpful, but it isn’t worth the instability of the rental rates.

First and foremost, I recommend this place. Clean, well lit, inexpensive (first month free), and most of all, surprisingly incredible customer service.
Shoutout to Gino for being a righteous guy and turning the relatively arduous process of obtaining a storage unit into a painless, simple experience. Probably the most personable dude I’ve ever met who works behind a desk and has to deal with the New York populace on a daily basis. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

This review is purely based on customer service and ease of access, facility:
The gentleman who helped us with our reservation was very helpful, courteous and easy to talk to on the phone. A+ for customer service. I believe his name was Michael? Also, the gentleman at the front desk, Paul, was very helpful and easy to work with.
It is refreshing to come across such people in customer service with pleasant, upbeat attitudes.
Our experience with the facility is that it is clean, air conditioned and easy to use.

So apparently Storage Post offers a special on Unilocal,50% off for three months. Why offer this at all if this is just for new members? :shrugs shoulders: usually the Unilocal offers are to reward people for coming frequently. I’m not sure what people are doing over there in their social media department.

I finished moving my last few items today and went to the office to inform the man in the office that it was my last day and that I cleaned out the room. He then handed me a paper indicating I had no more balance. So I said, I was already paid for the whole month in advance and was expecting to be paid back a pro-​rated refund. But he said, I wasn’t getting any refund! So I said, then I will just use my room till the end of the month. But he cancelled my access and I could not get back to my floor without an access code!
I have been telling the front office people about my plan to either get a bigger room or transfer my stuff to another place, but NO ONE ever mentioned that I cannot get my money back pro-​rated or I could have cancelled at the end of last month.

In defense of this place, no rats in sight. My boyfriend has his stuff here for two months and the place is clean as a whistle, the service is super friendly, and security is tight. I am moving my stuff here next week.

The facility and staff at Storage Post in Ridgewood is the best. Always professional and accomodating to help you find a solution to your storage needs. If you’re local in Williamsburg or Bushwick and need a storage place, this is it. They have easy parking and it’s never overly crowded where you need to look for a cart. Talk to Jessica and Carlos, they are the best. Nice, professional, helpful, and good people all around. Anyone that has had storage here can confirm this. Highly recommended!

This place is incredible! «How can they be? It’s just storage,» you say? Well, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. This place may even be nicer than where you live…
We’ve been using the Storage Post for 2 years and tell everyone we know that they shouldn’t look anywhere else for storage. Their premises are beautifully maintained and safe, and their prices are the best in the city. There are plenty of carts for moving your things, and you never have to wait to use the loading dock, which is indoors and out of the elements. How great is that?!
Any friends who’ve come by our storage unit always say they can’t believe how great the facility is, and that the Storage Post puts all other places to shame.
From the first day, the management has been extremely professional and friendly, and will go out of their way to help in any way they can.
You don’t expect to find a place like this in NYC where one dingy place blends into the next. They do not blend, but are actually outstanding.
May be worth a visit even if you don’t need storage right now, because once you do need storage it’s always a scramble and often regrettable when you just choose a place at random. Check it out for future storage.
