Dr Izzo gave me one of the worst experiences of my life. He was extremely abrupt and made me feel like a piece of furniture rushing me through my teeth pulling even though he knew I was very nervous and can’t afford undue stress cause of my heart condition. He had no bedside manner and made me convinced even though I haveto have another tooth pulled I would never go to him.

I went here to get a wisdom tooth removed and it was a very pleasant experience. Well as pleasant as having surgery in your mouth can be. Everyone who worked there was super nice especially the dentist. He was very friendly and funny. Not only was everyone nice to me but they were also nice to my 9 year old niece who went with me. The dentist not only talked to her but was making jokes and asking her about her stuffed animal and talking about cartoons. The surgery itself went great. Not only was it quick but there was very little pain. I would definitely recommend this place.

(This is a review based on my visits to get two of my lower wisdom teeth pulled out 4 yrs ago. For some reason I kept it as a draft and never ended up posting it.)
Because of the lack of reviews on eligible dentists under my insurance plan here on Unilocal,I had to google each one. It was a hard decision to make, especially because I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. I have read that some peopled ended up having an ok experience and some ended up having a horrible experience, depending on the oral surgeon. I didn’t want to end up with the latter group, and yet I didn’t have a lot of reviews to count on to make a decision. But thank god, Dr. Izzo had a few ratings online and they were all good!
The office was clean and simple. The staff there were all so nice.
Oh, one thing to keep in mind is that you have keep note of their hours because they are not open all the time.
The secretary was really nice and friendly when I went in. I didn’t have to wait long before I went to see Dr. Izzo. He was also super friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to very efficiently and quickly extract one of my lower wisdom tooth out. It healed without any issues, as I followed his instructions and was very careful with the food that i ate afterwards in order to prevent infection. I was able to go back in a month to get my other lower wisdom tooth extracted.
Both healed up with no issues.
I highly recommend Dr. Izzo!

I was just in the office today, I needed to have a tooth extracted. Was very nervous needless to say but the staff made me very comfortable. They were all very friendly! Once in the room with Dr Izzo, he joked about wanting my glasses cause they were awrsome. Ok so now the iv has been placed and the next thing I know it’s time to leave the office. I didn’t believe that he was done, I even said «are you sure you extracted my tooth»? No pain what so ever! I would totally recommend others to go to him! Hrs a great oral surgeon and an overall great person!

my 11 year old son had to have a tooth extracted back in the fall. I had them put him under because I didn’t think he’d do well with just novacaine. Dr. Izzo was wonderful, great with my son and in general a nice guy. My son’s teeth are extremely over crowded and he had to go again to have a few baby teeth pulled to make room for the adult ones. Again, his appointment went smoothly and they even gave me a doctor’s note to excuse him from school for the day after the teeth were pulled. I’ve only had very good experiences here and I know my son will have to go back for bottom teeth and I’m sure all will be great.

I was absolutely petrified to get my tooth extracted. From the moment I called to schedule the appointment I was treated with amazing attention. Everything went seamlessly and before I knew it the extraction was over. Dr. Izzo helped calm my nerves and talked me through the entire procedure. I cannot say enough about this practice and how they turned a frightening experience into a wonderful one.

I could not be more pleased with this office. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist made my living nightmare bearable. They were nothing less then amazing. The girls at the front desk were so nice as helpful. They had full conversation to ease my nerves that were clearly out of control that day. Then when I thought it couldn’t get any Better the dentist came into the room and made me feel as if I shouldn’t have a care in the world. Although my extraction was painful both before and after being that I had a badly infected tooth this office went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and at ease. Highly recommended and wouldn’t think twice about going back

The only reason I am giving the office a 3 is because of the (office mngr) Carmen. Dr Izzo himself is amazing very friendly and will ease your nervousness. So on my itial appt. I had a referral to get a tooth pulled and arrived 15 min. but of course wasnt seen until an hour after my arrival also I was put to sleep but in order for them to do that they had to give me an IV stuck me 5 times before they found a vein.
Even with my first appt going the way it went I still appreciated the Doctor and his great work. I had to have another tooth pulled and made another appt. it was for a Saturday. I mixed up my Saturdays and missed my appt (my fault) *THE OFFICE DOES NOT DO COURTESY CALLS. So I called the office to reschedule and spoke to Carmen. SHE was overly rude she said the doctor waited 30min for me, (I said to her why didnt you just call me I mixed up my dates and would have been there within 10min) She said no they dont have time to be responsible for those that arent, and that I will NEVER be able to schedule an appt. on a Saturday again. I explained to her that I have no one to make sure I got home ok if I scheduled an appt during the week. She said, «oh well you should have thought about that before you left us sitting here waiting» I asked if I could speak to an office manager she said she was the office the manager and she isnt going to waste her time asking the doctor to give me another chance because she will «get in trouble». Basically there was no need to go back and forth with someone on this maturity level so I hung up.
I ended up finding another oral surgeon and because of Carmen WILL NEVER go back to this office. Its a shame that the office lost a patient because of her.
