All their pizza is great but the Grandma & Sicilian is the BEST! I wish they delivered.

Great food. Penne voca is my go to when I eat here. It is perfect each and every time. They also have the best garlic knots. Love love love them. I am Sad that there is no delivery. It would be 5 stars if there was delivery.

Even if you are across the city, it’s worth the drive. The Sicilian pizza dough is not 100% cooked, which may sound disgusting but it’s actually amazing.

The. Best. Slice. In. NYC. Bar none. Get the margarita, then get the grandma, then get the sicilian, then get the fresh mozz. You’ll be happy you did.

For me it is the best pizza around. Every time i get there my face is smiling. They have lots of different slices starts on regular ends on taco slice. I have never eaten any other thing here but everybody says it is delicious. Definitely worth money. It is also clean at every point.

I am a fan, been for years. HOWTHE !$%# DOYOUGUYS [STILL] NOTDELIVER?! Delivery options in this neighborhood(and within the reasonable vicinity) are scarce. Too few, too far in between. Yes, there are a million italian places. Big duh, considering the demographic in these here parts. They are definitely NOT all winners. Mexicans throwing some cheese on dough and passing it off as pizza. Sauce from the can, dry day old rolls, soggy a%$ delivery an hour later. ANHOUR, like I’m ordering from New Jersey. Anyway… blah blah blah, I digress… You guys are awesome, love the pizza. Please look into delivery, I know you guys got it in you… More often than not, I feel like Will Smith hunting and pillaging for food in «I Am Legend». All the good stuff doesn’t deliver around here. I mean guys, let’s work it out… at least one of the locations…

THESEPEOPLEAREGROSS!!! THEYKEEPTHEFOODYOUDON’T EATTOGIVEITTOTHENEXTCUSTOMER. WEDIDN’T EATTHEBREADANDTHEYTOOKITBACKTOTHEKITCHENTOREUSEIT. NOTGOOD!!! Giving one star to this pizzeria it is way too much but in order to rate the place I must select one star. I went to this pizzeria with my husband and daughter because someone recommended the place and we were in a hurry to get back home soon. The restaurant’s atmosphere is a bit uncomfortable, people skipping the line, others just talking on top of somebody’s food to me it is an insult. Putting all that aside we ordered our meal. My husband ordered a grilled chicken salad but while we waited a waitress brought some bread and butter to the table… The chicken was dry and we found weird chicken parts. I hope it was chicken! There was a part of the«Chicken breast» that had a skin that looked like rubber that when you pulled it would pull back and not break. It was not chicken skin. We complained to the waitress and she said«I don’t know what that is» well we didn’t know and we will never know. She took our plates and carefully placed the bread and butter that we didn’t eat. When we saw how careful she took the bread we kept looking at her and we saw how the waitress disposed all our leftovers and she took the bread that we left to the kitchen. Why would you keep the bread??? to give it to someone else??? that is really gross!!! Who knows who didn’t eat the bread before us!!! That is not good business! We paid for the food if we don’t eat it at least throw it out. Nobody knows who has what!!! I would never step on that restaurant again. I regret ever going there.

I’ve been a customer here for a while since I live close by and this is the only location in the area that opens late nights– unless you walk pretty deep down Fresh Pond Road and I don’t have the energy to do that at 12am unfortunately. Anyways, I like the pizza a lot. I usually just get a plain slice and drench it with the spices and herbs that are amenities at any local pizzeria, probably the best in the neighborhood. I can expect their pizza to always be fresh since they have many customers throughout their business hours — unlike some pizzerias that taste like they bought a pie from BJs and just reheated it up or something. Bleh. I’ve also tried the chicken parm sandwich, which takes them around 10 minutes to heat up and make so I’d recommend you calling something like that for pick up. Though they don’t skim you on the chicken at all and it is completely worth the 5 and change that you’ll be paying for the sandwich, there is too much marinara sauce for my mouth to enjoy in one bite. The chicken cutlet is my other go-to sandwich which is much simpler in appearance and taste than the chicken parm. The lettuce and tomatoes are always fresh, it’s delicious but not the most ‘bang for your buck’ item they have.

This is one of my all time favorite pizza spots by far… They have a large selection and everything is always fresh. If you don’t see what your looking for they can make it for you… My favorite is the chicken ceasar salad slice, yum. There hours are great. They stay open late and manage to keep everything fresh, must be because they are so busy. The service is awesome here as well… They lose a star because the parking situation is tough. Located on a busy street, the street parking is very limited and competitive. They do have a small parking lot around back(that most don’t know about because you can barely see the sign), however the walk from the parking lot to the entrance is so long that I hardly every use the parking lot. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Happy Unilocaling :)

Rosa’s pizza has been the number one pizza place for most people in the area. The food is great and it is big enough to allow many patrons at once to sit and enjoy. If you want a delicious ravioli or chicken parmesan dish, this is the place to to! Not to mention to the Sicilian slices are the best! To top it off, the prices are really reasonable considering the portion sizes.

Hands down, my all time favorite when it comes to a NY slice. Take your pick and you will not be disappointed. Personally, I love the classic plain cheese slice… there is nothing better than this minimalist slice of perfection. All good things!

The pizza is great! I come here since they are open late. For the price they serve really good pizza. I’m more of a brick oven fan but this in Queens is as good as it gets. They have a huge eating area, all the pizza is fresh especially since they have a lot of customers coming in. Good pizza and it’s very clean. All my friends get there pizza from her as well.

Best pizzeria around this area. I frequent the Caesar salad slice, mozerella sticks, and chicken slice. All are extremely delicious. Every staff member always takes care of me, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem there. We usually get an entire family meal for $ 20, which if you ask me, is excellent Only downside: NO delivery :(

A true pizza institution, storied in tenior located just off the busy intersection of Fresh Pond Road and Metropolitan Ave. The buzz inside immediatly suggests great pizza and having not been here since high school I decided on two regular slices and a Sicilian for nostalgias and hungers sake. Some reviews have called this pizza emporium one of the best in Queens and I would be hard pressed to argue that point. The perfect balance of cheese and a refined light tomato sauce, Italian food wether at a posh restaurant or a pizza joint is all about balancing ingredients. Behind the counter the employees have to be the most active of any I’ve seen to date. Buzzing around like bees in a hive, heating and serving slices from two huge ovens to their loyal public.

We moved from Maspeth to Long Island over 20 years ago and my family and I still drive back to this Rosa’s location(the best of all of them) because their Sicilian pizza is incredible. All of their many varieties of pizza are so good and their pasta dishes and calzones are tasty as well. You can’t go wrong with Rosa’s!

Big, clean, slice and whole pie family-friendly pizzeria. This is a bit further in in Ridgewood– you’re best to get off Metro Av stop than Fresh Pond Road. But, it’s worth the travel. Bf and I split the Grandma Pie; it’s as good as they say– succulent, deep dish crust with lots of deep and flavorful tomato sauce. Simple but delish. I really enjoyed the starch on starch ravioli pie which was cheesy ravioli(filled with ricotta and herbs) on a cheesy thin(but not too thin) crust. I sort of expected more out of the crust, and more out of the sauce… from my understanding, it was supposed to be a vodka sauce but I just sort of tasted cheese(barely sauce at all). Still, the toppings are creative and I love the homey feel to it. All in all, a 3.5−4 star. $ 7 for both of us.

Its totally insane I haven’t reviewed this pizzeria! They have everything! An extensive entrée menu, with all your Italian faves… manicotti, baked clams, ziti, lasagna, chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, veal, shrimp… you name it! They also have hero’s, shrimp parmesan is my fave! Appetizers, salads, and some really good calamari! One thing I love about this spot is that the pizza counter is always full with fresh pies. No dried up, 2 day old looking slices here! Really awesome variety, cesar slice(delish), margarita, grandma, baked ziti slice, lasagna slice, rigatoni slice, green salad slice, bbq chicken, mushroom, broccoli and chicken slice, and fresh mozzarella and tomato slice. They also have rice balls, chicken rolls, garlic knots, beef patties, and mozzarella sticks on the counter, ready to go! And if your not ready for a hero, they have grilled chicken on a roll with fresh mozzarella… always delish! Chicken is marinated well, and is always fresh and juicy. Great hours… they are open late and are always busy. Large dinning area with lots of booths and tables and some flatscreen TV’s. Its very rare that I go to Rosa’s and they don’t have what I want, on the contrary, if I don’t see it, the answer is normally«its coming rite out!» Fresh pies are always«coming out» and I go late, usually after shopping or hanging out. Cesar pie disappears, everyone loves it, and they always seem to have it! Staff is great, busy but friendly! Place is clean and organized! Prices are good, especially for the quality of the food your getting! Thank you Rosa’s for being a great, traditional Italian pizzeria!
