We are a group family daycare providing nurturing care and a stimulating learning environment for infants through 5-year-old children. Our program includes free play/exploration, music, art, literacy, math, science, cooking and outdoor play. We provide healthy, nutritious and organic foods on the premises. We also have an after school program for elementary school children.
History
Established in 1997.
For over 10 years I worked as an elementary school teacher in the NYC public schools. When my first two children were born, I took a child care leave to spend more time with them. While on leave, I started a playgroup called Jiggle Sprouts Playgroup on Meetup, and we met at my home for parties, playdates and learning activities. One day, one of the moms suggested that I start my own school because our playdates were organized like a preschool schedule — story time, music time, arts and crafts and snack time! When my children were 2 and 3 years old, Jiggle Sprouts Inc. was born. The same staff members and teachers who have been with us since we started are still here with us. While our program was initially geared for children ages 2 to 5 years old, we recently expanded our program to include infants and toddlers, and it is growing and thriving! We look forward to providing the best learning and caring environment possible. We also hope to expand to another location this year.

Business Owner
Susan Coronel is an experienced educator and mom who is excited and proud to oversee the care and learning of all the children of Jiggle Sprouts Inc., from babies to school aged children!
For 10 years, Susan worked as an elementary and ESL teacher within the NYC public school system. In 2004, she earned National Board Certification in elementary education.
While on child care leave, she started a playgroup which turned into a succesful group family daycare business. Jiggle Sprouts is operated from the 1st floor of Susan’s home.
Susan is the proud mom of 3 children — ages 7, 6 and 9 months.
Every day is a day of learning and discovery for all our teachers and children!
