Worst Starbucks experience ever. I don’t know if they don’t know how to make a chai, if no one ever orders that here, but I ordered a soy chai with an extra pump of chai. First and foremost, some of the drink spilled and the spilled portion was replaced with foam. I asked her to please make the drink again. It tasted like flavored water. I then asked her to add more chai and it was honestly no better. While I can say that the barista was accommodating enough to remake my drink, they seriously need to practice their drinks better. This was the most disgusting chai I’ve ever had. When you pay $ 5 for a drink, it should taste good. Never again. Never.

They didn’t have enough employees working at this location. The plaza was mobbed!!! Everything was clean and organized. Unfortunately, waiting over 15 min on a quick pit stop isn’t what I had in mind. & the employees were just idk out of it. They can improve(employees on call or a better method of working as a team when they get busy). Other than that… Everything was fine.

Specifically told the person I had a free drink on my card prior to making an order and he proceeded to still charge me… He however gave me a voucher for a free drink. Still disappointed he didn’t listen. Got a venti vanilla bean frap and it tasted fine at first until I got half way through where it started to taste like milk.

I have to say that I was a bit skeptical of ordering from a Starbucks located in a Travel Plaza located on the New Jersey Turnpike but my husband and I were both pleasantly surprised when we stopped here late on a Sunday afternoon. The area was clean and the employees were working hard behind the counter. Our orders(Café Americano with SF Vanilla and SF Cinnamon Dulce) and Mark’s(Unsweetened Green Ice Tea) were made correctly and tasted wonderful — which is the consistency I have come to expect from Starbucks. This Starbucks is a nice addition to the standard offerings at this travel plaza and an oasis in the sea of crappy swill that Cinnabon and Roy Rogers had previously been the only option for this caffeine searching traveler.

This Starbucks is in the Vince Lombardi Travel Plaze… it is an excellent store with great customer service. The only down side is that they don’t sell any of the artisan sandwiches or wraps! The bathrooms in the travel plaza are maintained — the seating is descent. It beats the heck out of gas station coffee!

Heading down to Atlantic City this weekend for some fun I stopped at the Vince Lombardi service plaza and happened upon this brand new Starbucks location that just opened here. Hoo-ray! No more crappy brown water that Cinnabon tries to pass off as coffee. This new Starbucks even has a nice little section with tables and chairs set up to go along with their normal coffees, pastries, and food items. They will also honor the sweet treats receipts here. Such a better alternative than the swill that the other places here tries to pass off as coffee. It’s about time that this service plaza upgraded one of their offerings and now I can enjoy a better cup of coffee while driving down the turnpike.
