Established in 2010.

David Marceau and his mother, Cheryl, founded Ridgefield One in February 2010. The company specializes in IT and Creative Staffing as well as Web and Application Development. David had worked as an IT Consultant and Recruiter for over 15 years, therefore he understood this business well. Cheryl is the President and co-​founder of Ridgefield One. R1’s first hires were an IT Recruiter and a Business Development/​Sales professional. Within a couple of months of the company’s inception, David was able to put a dozen of people back to work at various companies based in Connecticut. After just a couple of years in business, the company has placed over 70 people in either contract or permanent positions. Ridgefield One is currently working with 20 different companies in Fairfield County.
