Gyro on Pita is a casual dining and takeout restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their menu offers some of the finest Greek foods in the area, including favorites such as falafel, hummus, souvlaki, baba ganoush, Greek Salad and tzatziki. But, their specialty is the gyro served with beef, lamb, pork or Chicken. And, no frozen meats used here! They use only quality meats cooked fresh daily. Their menu also offers some American classics from bacon and eggs to burgers and rotisserie chicken.
Gyro on Pita is open 7 days a week, 8 am to 8pm Monday through Friday, and 8am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.

After nearly two decades serving Ridgefielders, the owner of Dimitri’s Diner decided to open an authentic Greek eatery.
The 72-year-old who has run 10 restaurants — all diners — decided he wanted a new challenge and to bring a bit of his native country to Ridgefield, so he opened Gyro on Pita at 91 Danbury Road.
After 10 diners and many decades in the business, Mr. Paschalidis said it wasn’t a walk in the park starting Gyro on Pita, but it was able to be opened in an astonishingly speedy two and a half months, in part because of a speedy interior renovation.
