At Ridgefield Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio we specialize in offering instruction for social, competitive and theater arts partner dancing. Whether you are looking to learn a dance for your wedding or for yourself as an individual or couple, this is the place to come. All levels are welcome and no partner is necessary. We teach children age 5 and up as well as adults. Our styles of dance include American Smooth and Rhythm as well as International Standard and Latin dances. Theater arts showcase dancing may cover many styles of dance depending upon the individual student interest. With the Fred Astaire Conceptual Method of Teaching, we offer comprehensive dance training through multiple lesson offerings. Private and group lessons as well as dance parties are available for each student to progress in their dancing with a structure and pace that meets their individual needs. Business Owner

Morten grew up in Denmark where he began dancing at age 5, while Mira started dancing at age 9 in her home country of Bulgaria. A love of dancing brought both Morten and Mira to the United States, where they met while working for Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios. Together they took over ownership of the Ridgefield studio in 2013 so they may continue to share their knowledge, passion and love of dance in a greater way.
