In the same plaza as the H&Y supermarket. YES, a store dedicated to kimchi. There are no prices posted, and everything is made in house. They have all different types of kimchi. Didn’t end up getting anything because they ran out of the cucumber kimchi. Small store front but it’s legit homemade kimchi.

Literally the best kimchi you can buy. The only kimchi my family and esp grandmother can vouch for and that’s saying a lot since my father is a farmer and we make our own kimchi every year. A little old lady runs the place, with her own recipe and her daughter is supposedly taking over the business. Really exciting to see a big name like arirang kimchi family owned and run by the family. Love it and love the kimchi!

It’s the only place my mom will buy kimchi from — she usually makes her own kimchi, but when she’s feeling lazy or wants more variety in our fridge, this is where she goes. Arirang moved from Inglewood to this location, conveniently located next to H&Y. H&Y actually sells Arirang kimchi as well, but I’d expect the ones in Arirang’s store is fresher. I’ve seen the process in which they make the kimchi, when they were still in the Inglewood factory location. They’re quite thoroughly clean, which is why we only trust them! I’d say the price isn’t on the cheap side compared to other kimchis on the shelves of Korean supermarkets, but it’s well worth it.
