Sad to say, when we got there and finally found parking, everyone we talked to as we walked towards the even said the lines were at least an hour long and more than 4 of the trucks already ran out of food. Oh well, guess I’ll be visiting the trucks separately…

Im giving this a 2 star based on solely the CONCEPT. As other reviewers said, the event itself didn’t work– We got there around 7 and managed to find a spot right next to the Event. However once we got in the extremely long lines, they were running out of food everywhere. Luckily people in front came back to tell us there were only 20 hamburgers left for a line of 100 ppl(this should have been relayed to announcer to announce– and it would have made the announcer somewhat useful!!). Like other reviewers said– No food, too many people, No on site organizers to be found, TERRIBLE traffic jams trying to get out of this place resulted in a truly terrible time — And I actually left work early to go to this! BUT with that said– I DO believe this HAS potential– I was ecstatic to find NORTH nj holding an event like this, almost like a smaller Brooklyn Googamooga. There are rarely any events that interest the young professional group, families, and teens ALL at once. It was just done poorly– Limit the amount of people by using tickets(So again the event doesn’t run out of food 4 hours before & Lines aren’t RIDIC long), find an area that can handle everyone driving(This is Nj after all, not BK), Have more food trucks, HAVEPPLONSITEINNEONTEESGUIDINGPEOPLEANDLINES. Maybe next year they’ll learn and this event will be worthwhile.

I had such high hopes but yea, it was a big miss. The idea was great but the parking situation was horrible. I’m local to the area so knew well enough to park away from the madness and had a 20 – 30 minute walk to the event. The cops closed the street so I feel bad for all of the innocent commuters that got stuck in traffic for no reason. Then there’s the actual event. Finally got there at 6, and the lines were hours long. Couldn’t even tell where one line ended and the next began. we walked around hoping to find something reasonable but alas there was nothing… so we left and went to a restaurant. 2 stars because the event was a great idea and the location is awesome. Everything else was horrible.

HORRIBLE!!! I wish I could give this event 0 stars! Talk about unorganized! Event started @4pm…we got there at 6 and things were already headed south! Was forced to park about one mile away; had to trek my toddler in his stroller all the way to the food trucks. Lines were unreal… it was like they were giving food away for FREE! Lines were not moving at all… people were complaining they were on line since it opened and were still waiting. Traffic was at a standstill going in and out. No security, limited garbage bins, the singer/announcer kept talking aimlessly about nothing helpful, just said, «Eat more food!» lol… couldn’t get near the food. What a waste of a trip… headed out as soon as we could then hit more traffic. We tried warning people who were heading into the event to turn around. The event sounds great in theory but guess the organizers had either no experience or didn’t anticipate the thousands of people who showed up.

Absolutely HORRID — poorly planned, HORRIBLY executed. Traffic was backed up on 80, 46, Teaneck Road, and the Turnpike for MILES. Parking was minimal at best. There were just TWO county officers attempting(and failing) to direct traffic. Even IF you could get parking, you would have needed to walk at least a half to a full mile over to the park to get any food. There were advertisements for some sort of «shuttle» which, again, FAILED because it was caught in the traffic everyone else was caught up in. IF you DID manage to get into the event, lines were horrendous, people were aggravated, food was in high demand and extremely low supply. A great concept. poorly executed.
