Custom Framing

Our custom framing is done on-​the-​premises. We offer 2,000 frame styles. We frame paintings to prints, photos to diplomas, shadowboxes to rare documents, children’s drawings to fine artwork. We have the experience to handle every frame job you need, whether simple or elaborate. We have an extensive line of specialty frames seen nowhere else, and also have a line of budget friendly frame styles too. History

Established in 2001.

West End Gallery is owned by the James family. Opening their first location in New York in 1967, after many successful decades the family decided to move the family business to Richmond, Virginia in 2001.

Since 1967 the James family has been selling beautiful fine artwork, and has sold tens-​of-​thousands of custom frames, made on the premises by our experienced staff.

West End Gallery’s artwork includes paintings and limited editions from local, national and international artists. Picture framing services are extensive and comprehensive, with over 2,000 frame styles to choose from.

Meet the Business Owner

Chris J.

Business Owner

West End Gallery owner, Chris James, began working in the family gallery in New York in 1987. Years later he moved the family business Richmond, Virginia to be closer to his siblings to keep the close-​knit family together.

He gladly serves most customers for their art and framing purchases, for the highest level of service for art collectors and framing customers.
