Q&A with Shane Albertson, President

How did you get started in this business?

My dad and I would work on projects together growing up and the carpentry just came naturally to me. I love being able to create and repair. Having a vison of where you want to go, what you want to build and being able to do it is very gratifying. After being in sales for nine years, and doing remodel work on the side, I realized I had the passion and drive to be a General Contractor.

What does a typical day look like?

One of the best things about this business is I don’t have typical days. Each day presents new challenges and rewards. I spend a good deal of time talking to current clients, new clients, potential clients, vendors, and suppliers to gather all the information needed to evaluate each opportunity and provide the best service I can to my clients. I also make every effort to be hands on at each job. Sometimes I am putting up crown molding, sometime pouring cement, everyday is different.

Shane, Owner/​Managing Member, is a native of Richmond. He enjoys each new project and working with new clients. He lives in Henrico, County with his family. He is as avid skier and volleyball player.
