Specialties

We provide certified training in Cardiopulmonary Rescusitation (CPR), use of Automatic External Defrillators (AEDs) and advanced first aid. Training includes dealing with heart attacks, strokes and choking. Training is provided in these topics to deal with problems ocurring in adults, children and infants. Successful graduates are certified iin these skills for two years by the American ed Cross, American Health &Safety Instituteof EMS Safety Inc, all nationally recognized training/​certification companies. Training is availab le or groups or individuals, at our location of yours.

History

Established in 2007.

We have conducted traiinng in CPR, AED and First Aid as well as disasterpreparedness and the 20-​hour Community Emergency Response Team FEMA program. We also conduct refresher CERT training in selected topics as well as custom-​designed exeercises, drills and seminars.

Business Owner

After 30 years of combined active and reserve armed forces duty with the United States Army I worked for seven years for the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a Disaster Assistance Specialist and later as an Operations Specialist. I served as a Public Information Officer, Research and Report Analyst for FEMA Public Affairs and later with ESF-​14 Long Term Community Recovery.

In 2007 I resigned from FEMA and opened Trainer Guy, a sole owner/​proprietor business specializing in conducting training in CPR, AED and First Aid as well as Community Emergency Response Team training and Disaster Preparedness.
