Thank you, TJ Maxx for coming to Richmond! I am here several times a month, sometime multiple times in one week! Great selection of designer women’s shoes and clothing. Good housewares department, I always find unique decorations for any given holiday. The beauty section has designer perfumes for a steal. Accessories department has a super selection of purses, luggage, jewelry, belts, and sunglasses. I have also purchased high-end shampoos and conditioners for half off the retail price. The men’s department is lacking at this particular location, but overall the store is great. The merchandise changes at least weekly, so there is always something new. The best is when you score an item in the clearance section– always makes my day!

Eh. It’s okay. I am not a big fan of the Maxx for anything other than socks and cheap sunglasses. My husband pretty much only shops here. He always finds great stuff for a great price. I find the women’s clothing choices to be lacking entirely. They are too expensive, ugly, and made mostly for the size 2 crowd.

I LOVE T.J.Maxx. This particular store especially! I’ve found so many wonderful things here at the best prices. They have a great selection of purses, jewelry, shoes, beauty items, home goods, clothing, etc. The key is to visit when they get new merchandise in stock! My favorite store in Richmond. Dillard’s in now second!

Being a guy TJ Maxx doesn’t do it for me. The only reason I come is because my girlfriend loves it. But from my stance the guys selection is just straight up awful. I admit that the brands aren’t my style, but still I can buy some t shirts and random gym shorts. I find this place pretty pricey for those items. When I can get them at target or JC Penny probably cheaper. The home goods section is sad. This place was basically built for the ladies and that’s okay. We have to keep them happy right?

What?! I get to be the first reviewer? I’m so honored! Ahem. You’ll have to excuse me. TJ Maxx is my home away from home, and when I found out it was opening up in Richmond(by way of a billboard) in the old Goody’s building, I called my mom screaming and promptly put the opening date in my phone calendar. Yes, I REALLY like TJ Maxx. So far, this one is great. It’s huge and well-organized. Their dress section is larger in the other stores I’ve frequented. And some smart person had the foresight to put all the food items up in front to keep people from sampling. The staff also seems really nice. So yeah, TJ Maxx. Still my favorite place ever. Thanks, Richmond, for getting on board the awesome train. Now bring back Target and you’ll be all set.
