Canal Winchester, OH
Hit town late and was looking for a place for a bite and a beer. We were greeted by a doorman asking for a $ 5 cover for the live band. I whined I was hungry and thirsty and not in the mood for music. With a sweet smile and charming manner, he convinced us to stay and give the pizza a try. Glad we did!
The drink prices are great, the specials even better. The band wasn’t bad! We were about three drinks in when the pizza arrived and the bouncer was right. The crowd varied from locals to a quick stop by an alumni frat group and the place never seemed too full to wander easily.
I make it a point to avoid chains and hit local spots when travelling. Copper Still was a pleasant surprise

Not a bad place but far from great. This seemed like a place just for a few regulars to hang out. Our group had a few issues with the food (a hamburger bun was molded and they were out of a lot of items). This was our second time visiting and are not planning on a third.

Great little place! $ 6 Rip Van Winkle! What’s not to like. Great friendly service and owner. Will certainly stop back in again e nest time I’m down in Richmond. They took very good care f two city boys passing through!
