*Come in for the Best Chili in RVA! Star-lite’s house chili just won First Place at the 2013 Chili Cookoff!*
Our bartenders and staff are the best in the Fan. They don’t do that avoiding-your-eye-contact thing, and they know how to keep the booze and music flowing. Become a regular and they might just have your drink ready before you sit down.
We’re located just off the Boulevard, walking distance from Cary Town and the Museum District, or a short drive or bike ride from VCU and downtown. Star-lite is the perfect place for a quick bite, a drink with friends, or (if it’s the weekend) the best brunch in our river city.
History
Established in 2001.
It’s Star-lite now, and hopefully forever. But this location was originally home to Soble’s and his famous burgers from 1987 – 2000. Devil’s Kitchen was next (but only for a little while) and then we took over in late 2001. Ever since, 2600 West Main Street has been Star-lite. .. just the way we like it. As a tribute, we still offer the famous «Soble’s burger» and of course — if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – we’ve kept the neighborhood bar atmosphere that’s kept this place so popular in the Fan for decades.
