Dr. Mulvaney suffered from back pain in his teen years. He sought medical treatment several times that was unsuccessful. In college he went to a chiropractor. The results were so dramatic that Dr. Mulvaney decided to become a chiropractor instead of a medical doctor. He loves being able to give this gift back to his patients.

This place is AWESOME. The doctor and everyone else here is extremely nice and helpful. I came in skeptical about chiropractics but after a couple months I was no longer suffering from dizziness, hand numbness, and a tight/​stiff neck. I recommend this place to anyone that will listen to me!!!

Received an excellent massage from Leland. He was able to get a hold of the knot in my back and work it out. I prefer a massage with a lot of pressure and he was able to meet that expectation. I’ll be back in the future.

Excellent chiropractor. He’s improved my posture and has helped me with significant improvement in mobility following a sports injury. The office is kid friendly, easy to schedule, and will work with you on payment plan if needed. They also have fresh baked cookies around lunch time! He also has lots of trigger point tools to work out your body while you wait– this helps me make the most of my visits. I’ve recommended him to other people, and they’ve all been very pleased!

I have been going to spinal correction center for a little over a year now and I love them! The staff is super friendly and I love how they make you feel like you are part of the spinal correction center family and not just another patient on the books for that day. Since starting treatment my back pain has decreased significantly. I would definitely recommend spinal correction center. On the plus side they offer massage therapy as well as chiropractic care!

I heard about this place via word of mouth and it was the best thing ever! Josephine Russell gives the best massages! I work long hours and to make matters worse sometimes forget to stretch after working out. She definitely identified my «problem areas» and was able to adjust the pressure according to what was needed in all the different muscles. I left that place more relaxed than I had been in years. Furthermore, I bought a massage for my husband as a gift because he also works on his feet all day and is an athlete and he was pleasantly surprised by her strength and ability to predict exactly what he needed without him knowing it himself. He came home with all the necessary paperwork to make it a regular session! We would 100% recommend Josephine for all your massage needs.

This place and Dr. Mike are simply amazing. My wife and I have both been there several times. My wife fell down a flight of stairs and Dr. Mike fixed her right up… minus the bumps and bruises. And I was hurting so bad one time that I could barely move on the side of the soccer field. Dr. Mike laid me down right there in the grass and within minutes all my pain disappeared! It was amazing! I think I even scored a hat trick that game! Thank you so much Dr. Mike.

I just started seeing .Dr. Mulvaney a little over two weeks ago. I can truly say that this office is one of best I have ever been too. From the smile you get from Cynthia when you first walk in until the last «crack» you receive from Dr. M. Oh and the cookies are awesome too. I already feel a difference in my body and I owe it to this office. I look forward to my appointments. This is truly an experience that I am enjoying and it is also helping my health. Great initial visit to Spinal Correction Center today! I was greeted warmly by Cynthia and Dr. Mulvaney. I got an exam/​tests of reflexes and range of motion and Dr. M listened to my history of injury and recent pain I have been in for several months (and off and on for years).
I am looking forward to seeing if I am a candidate for the spinal decompression treatment, and will be returning next week for a follow up post lower back xrays.
This is a very friendly office!

What a great family oriented environment! I have referred family members and friends as a result of my treatment being so helpful! Even my toddler gets adjusted sometimes. I would recommend Spinal Correction Center to anyone and everyone! The cookies are fabulous as well :)

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mulvaney since early 2012. Everyone in the office is helpful and friendly. Dr. Mulvaney, Cynthia and Brittany are always there to greet you with a smile. I can always count on them to pick up the phone and say «sure come on in, I’ll fit you in». Their concept of never leaving a patient behind due to cost is also very awesome. Would not know what I would be doing if I wasn’t going to them every so often for adjustments.

I tend to be a massage therapist hopper… I go to a new one every time. I’ve been to Leland twice (big deal for me), and they were both the best massages I’ve ever gotten… hands down! He does this patella tendon massage that I’ve never had anyone do before. Also, the massage around the ears is probably the best thing ever… no literally, EVER. Definitely plan on going back (for a third time… whoa)!

Massages really helps me destress and I have been to about 20 massage therapists all over Richmond. I rank Leland, at the Spinal Correction Center, one of the very best in town. He knows the body and he knows massage. He will give you a relaxation massage and/​or really work every bit of stress out of your body. Plus, he is a very nice guy. If I had to pick one person to go to, he is the one.

I’ve been going to Dr. Mulvaney for about 2 years now, and I’ve seen a marked difference in my back pain.
When I was a teenager, I was diagnosed and treated for kyphosis and lordosis… and said treatment left me with chronic back pain. With the help from Dr. Mulvaney, I have learned that I don’t have to live in pain.
The office also has licensed massage therapists on staff, and my therapist, Leland, is phenomenal.
