Smiley’s Mobile Glass Shop

I got a crack in my windshield. At the the recommendation of my insurance company, I called Smiley’s. I left the car at my house and made arrangements for my wife to take me to work while they came out and replaced the glass. Afterwards, I discovered that they had failed to hook the windshield washer hose back up. This required leaving the car again at home for them to come and fix it.
I then discover that the windshield they installed was distorted on the lower edge which made the lines in the highway appear as though they were diving in on me. I scheduled a third appointment and again made alternate arrangements for transportation to work when they came out a third time to do the job right.
The two technicians who installed the second windshield were pleasant. However, that does not make up for the company’s inefficiency (incompetence?) nor the inconvenience it caused me.

I had a chip (size of a quarter) on the windshield and decided to give Smiley a try based on the recommendations and to support local RVA businesses. I called Geico and they pushed for Safelite since they are on the scheduling network. I requested Smiley and surprised to learn that Smiley is authorized and part of the vendor network with approved warranty. I called them in the morning, talked to friendly Wendy who scheduled me for the repair on the same day at my work place. 2 employees came and promptly repair the windshield. They were courteous and professional. I paid no deductible and happy to have the repair done professionally. I highly recommend Smiley.

I had the glass on my car replaced at a very competitive price. The servicemen arrived at my car on time and were friendly and knowledgable. About a month out, I am very satisfied with my new windshield and would definitely use Smiley’s for future glass repair.

Fast, accurate and careful with the insurance paperwork, patient with me as I verified that it was all in order, and they made sure the inspection sticker transferred properly to the new windshield. High recommended. :)

I was referred to Smiley’s by the Nissan dealership in Richmond. I was referred to Eric, who was extremely helpful. I called at 8:15 AM, and by 10:30 AM the truck was at my office to fix my windshield. It only took about 30 minutes, which was great! I am so thankful for them making this so easy for me.

Friendly folks, good pricing, and a perfect job on my windshield. Not much more to ask for.
I like to give my business to local companies when I can, too. My last repair from from a large chain — let’s just say it begins with «S» and ends with «afelite» — and it wasn’t very well done. Smiley’s even fixed the mistakes the other guys made.
So yeah, highly recommended.
