These guys are extremely rude! Steer clear, total crooks! They will quote you one price and then completely raise rates.

Yeah ok, I got my keys. I suppose they did their one job.
But they are crooks for sure.
Website says $ 15 lockout. You call, the woman with a thick accent that’s nearly indecipherable says the $ 15 is just for them to come to you, then the unlock rate starts at $ 25 «after they see the condition of the car.» I’m thinking, my car is in good condition, it’s just sitting there in my driveway. OH. You want to see the condition of that Lexus symbol on it, don’t you?
Guy pulls up, barely even eyeballs the situation and says «$ 125.»
I laugh and say no way. Don’t need you, I have EasyCare Roadside Assistance but it’s $ 60, and I thought you were $ 15, so nevermind.
He immediately drops the price to $ 60 and eventually gets my car open.
What kind of business model is built around dropping your prices over 50% in the blink of an eye?

I called this company on 3÷25÷16 to change some door locks for a residential property. The dispatch said some would be there in 15 – 20 min. After 30 min I get a call from the tech saying he will be there within 2 hours. I called back and spoke to the same dispatcher who advised me the tech had car problem but did not want to tell me that. He said he already had another person on the way. He said he could see the person on his GPS and he know they are in route. Well 45 min later I get a call from the 2^nd tech asking me for the location I was at. I was beyond upset. He had not even left his location. I took abt 3 hours to get this job complete. Since this job was for work (foreclosure property) I needed the receipt itemized differently then the way they wrote it. Well it has been 4 days the lady Michelle advised she did it and sent it to me. When I told her I never received it then she said her boss told her the company that came out and did the work works under them but there is nother they can do for me. THIS IS A VERY SHADY COMPANY

I had a court ordered protection order that demanded that the locks on my personal spaces be changed and deadbolts installed. I contacted this company and spoke to a woman. I told her I needed all three locks completely changed and two deadbolts installed. She said that was not a problem and the technician would have several different locks and deadbolts to choose from. The first technician with a heavy Spanish accent called me and asked «Why the hell did he have to come at 11 pm» even though they are ²⁴⁄₇. He would not come without the police here and I called and the police showed up but the technician never did. I called back and the police told them to send someone now. A new technician with a beard and enormous ear holes came in and said he wasn’t going to do any of it and the police told him to complete the service which is when he ran out of the house. I called the company back and a «manager» with either a Spanish or Indian accent told me to «go fuck myself» and hung up on me. This is the crudest company I have ever dealt with and they violated the protection order, the police and what they promised they could do. Stay as far away from them. For a woman attacked by a man with a gun this only added to my anxiety and stress.

We have several rental properties and have used Eric in the past. His pricing continues to change. He never gives you the same price twice. He’s always in a hurry and never really listens to what you want done. For instance, we already had locks and wanted them installed he said that would be fine but the end result he used his locks and charged us an outrageous price for them. When we asked that he take them out and use ours he was going to charge an additional fee. It was cheaper to just leave it alone.
The reason that we decided to no longer use this company is when we had an eviction. I called and scheduled 3 days prior to the eviction. I even called the night before to confirm the date and time of the eviction. The next morning while I was at the property with the Deputy waiting for Eric he called and told me that he would be there in 4 hours. This was unacceptable!!! He then went on to argue with me which made things even worse! He was very arrogant and cocky stating that I could call other locksmiths but he would end up getting the job. Needless to say I called another company and they were there within 5 minutes.
I will NEVER use this company again!

The owner called promptly around 9 am. He arrived 4 hours later around 1 pm to rekey our locks (not a lock-​out, so no emergency). Rekeying job A-​OK. Three-​star rating because he replaced 3 locks, but initially only gave us 2 keys. I had to ask for additional keys. I specified and asked upfront for Baldwin keys, but he gave us 2 standard keys and then some «Do Not Duplicate» keys when I said 2 keys for 3 locks (and a family of more than 2) wasn’t going to work. Arik gave us the DND keys but said he would order Baldwin blanks from his supplier. He took a ‘master’ key with him so he could cut the Baldwin keys and drop them off. I didn’t hear from Arik for several weeks so husband called him to follow up. Arik had forgotten he had told me he had taken an impression of the key so he could cut the new keys when the Baldwin blanks came in. I told him we were OK with additional DND keys if he hadn’t already gotten the Baldwin blanks. He said, again, he would have to wait until he stopped by his supplier when they opened later that morning. Another week and a half later, and still no keys. This time, however, the information is that he cannot get the blanks. Even for the «Do Not Duplicate» keys …? If it weren’t for the sales-​pitch promises that were never kept, I’d have given him 5 stars. Really? A locksmith who can no longer get blanks for «Do Not Duplicate» keys that you had in your truck on your re-​keying visit? Once he was here, he was quick and knew what he was doing. «Nice guy.» But a salesman who tells you what you want to hear. Website advertises he takes credit cards, but had to pay by cash or check. (I’m a CPA so know that this is one way to avoid reporting income – checks can be cashed at the counter of the bank of payer – thus untraceable to the business.)

Eric was quick to come to my rescue! He was within 7 minutes of my house, unlocked the door in a minute, and ran my card in another two. The service was fast and friendly. The only downside was the price; not that they overcharge, just that locking yourself out and calling a locksmith is always a pricey endeavor.

Jacob was more than willing to go the extra mile to get me back into my vehicle. This is service that you don’t get most places.

A friend/​neighbour of ours locked themselves out of their house late in the afternoon, and had a bunch of errands to run, they asked me to find a locksmith for them. I called a few other places and kept getting answerphones, and voicemails asking me to leave a message and they’ll get back to us later. Called these guys, got real person first time; the lady was knowledgable and helpful and told us she could get someone to us in 30 minutes, that’s a pretty fast response considering they cover such a large area. However, the 30 minute quote was incorrect… 15 minutes later and they were with us, and unlocking the door. The price was a little less than most of the other quotes I’ve seen too. So, fast, no voicemail, competitive pricing, courteous, and knowledgable. That’s why I’ve given them five stars.

I got locked out of my house on Jan 17, and I live on the second floor of one of those Fan houses with super high windows that nobody could ever climb into, which is good for safety and bad for getting locked out. I tried to replace the lock myself and after 3 hours and three trips to Pleasant’s Hardware, I officially gave up, but not before I broke the new lock I had purchased.
I called Richmond Locksmith. They came quickly (in less than 30 minutes) and they charged me ¹⁄₃ the price that two other locksmiths had charged me in the past when I had been locked out. That price included a new lock too! They fixed the problem I had caused by trying to install the lock incorrectly and installed a new lock, all in less than 30 minutes. And it was the actual owner of the company who came to my house to do the work. I would definitely highly recommend this company. Call them if you get locked out.
