Residences at Cinco Ranch

The location is great but the office staffs are terrible. We were good tenants, never late on payments and did not complained about the security gate being broken constantly or the wastes pet owners left behind. After living here for about two years, we discovered mildew/​mold in our unit and request to be transfer but there was no downstairs unit available. So we asked that the place gets new carpets because it was damp from water leaking through the windows. In order for me to get my place clean up, we have to renew our lease but by this time, we were hesitant about signing another 6 months contract because of the way the staff treated us once we had this issue. When I came in to pay rent, it was a «welcoming» and «nice» atmosphere. When I asked about the mildew/​mold issue, the attitudes started to shift to «bothersome» and «we are waiting on management» responses.
In the end, we gave our two month notice and moved out. We cleaned the apartment and returned all our keys. We returned 3 remote keys for the security gate. Two came free with our lease but the third remote required a $ 50 deposit, refundable when the key is returned. After we paid all the necessary fees we were refused a credit of $ 50 by Tina. She told us they have no proof we paid for the remote. We have a copy of the cashed check but she insisted that it had to be documented in their file. We are terribly upset and disappointed about how this situation was handled. We have proof we paid and we returned the remote. If you are shopping around for a place, go to a place that have great customer service because when you encounter a problem, you know they want to work with you to resolve the issue.

Terrible community. Employees change every week. They are painting the buildings and have been done with all the patio doors in my buildings for over two weeks except for mine. I have called and gone to the office to let them know because it’s a huge inconvenience to get letters once a week telling us to put all patio furniture inside but nothing gets done. Only here for location and price. Wish I didn’t renew for another year but hey it’s a roof

The only good thing about the apartments is the location. Management was switched and they’re not bad but breezeways are disgusting.

What a beautiful place to live! I could not believe the extra touches and real granite kitchen counter. I stayed with a friend for two nights and it was fantastic! We had dinner and shopped near-​by at LaCenterra and loved the whole area. I guess I was «Kickin it in Katy»! If I ever move to Houston — this is where I want to live!
