Polished Nails & Spa

I went there with a sales flyer, but it looks like they don’t honor it. All they were trying to do is sell me a more expensive package I didn’t need. I just wanted simple manicure and pedicure, I should have gone to the one at Walmart. It’s a good atmosphere and friendly but I won’t go back there for sure.

They recently changed their owner after a few months i guess and I’m not happy with the changes. Before, I felt like the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and last time I walked in on a Saturday evening, the girls looked tired and rushed. It made me uncomfortable to enjoy myself; they basically looked overworked. I met with a colleague and she got tips and her aesthetician dropped a long eyelash in her tips. Looked gross and didn’t take it out. I don’t know if she want back to get it redone… Then we were catching up on talking at the nail drying area, NOBODY else was around or waiting on us, and a guy came by 2x asking us what we had done on our nails and if we’re done… really? Shortly after, we felt annoyed and left and waited a few uncomfortable minutes at the check out because the guy was super confused at who got what service (who being 3 other women waiting to checkout besides us). I kept telling him exactly what I had done and it was like he didn’t believe me and asked me if I didn’t have the tips done. I’m not coming back and it upsets me because they were so close to me.

Good job on my nails, but their «sale» price wasn’t really a sale to me…

First time here and I came in at 9:30am. Heidi was my nail tech and I got the $ 60 mani/​pedi with the 30% off promotion. They were thorough, took their time and didn’t rush me. The massages were nice and I really did enjoy the Nu mani/​pedi. My hands and feet left so soft and smooth! I love the colors I had chosen. It so close to home and the staff are very friendly!

Great service and they always take me as soon as I walk in when I have a reservation. Julie does the best shellac manicure.

Stopped in because of the 30% off — and I should have kept driving. I just needed a quick polish of my nails and toes — my technician literally filed them down to the nubs — and I was pretty upset about that — it takes a while to grow my nails out — but she did tell me they were «even» now. Got my lip and brow waxed — had some extra wax on my arm and neck. She spent more time tweezing my eyebrows than waxing and I almost had to ask her to stop it was so painful — and I get my brows and lip done quite often. I will not be back.

My wife and I have been coming here since they opened several months ago. The staff is very attentive and very professional and proficient. Now some may say «What does a guy know about a nail salon?» Well, trust me, my wife says this salon is one of the best she has visited in the last several years. The quality of the products used are much better than some of the less expensive salons in the area.
We plan on continuing to visit this salon for some time.

They have a large display on both sides of the entrance with lots of nail color choices. The shellac mani and deluxe pedi I get at a neighboring nail salon is less ($ 10 total) expensive. This place didn’t give a shoulder/​neck massage with their version of the deluxe manicure. This place is ok, but I don’t think I’ll go again because they repeatedly asked if I would like to upgrade the services in a mildly pushy way. It was annoying since I was there to relax. Also, they want the techs to be tipped in cash.

Today was my first visit at Polished after my usual spot had a 30 minute wait. We didn’t have to wait. We were seated immediately for our deluxe manicure/​pedicure. The staff was nice, but pre-​occupied with the customers coming in and how to service the crowd. I enjoyed the new chairs and the decorative accessories, but I would have been better off waiting 30 minutes at the salon on 359 for the best and reliable manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had.

I came in on a Wednesday morning with my mom and we were quickly seated which was good. We both got a full set and didn’t bother to ask about the prices. However, when I asked them if they did a Matte top coat she relied with «Yes. Five more dollars.» I told her never mind because my usual place (which was unfortunately too far away for a quick nail trip) doesn’t charge and I have a bottle of OPI Matte finish at home I could do myself. Towards the end, she convinced me to do it because of the 30% off deal and I obliged.
Half my nails are semi-​matte and the others, not so much. So I pretty much paid 5 extra dollars for a half ass job. I don’t know if it was the polish or the lady. Either way I just wanted to get out of there.
She was very nice and asked if I needed a drink. But for a full set, I ended up paying 28 dollars and to not be fully satisfied is a little off putting.
I may return because it’s close to check out their other services but we’ll just have to see.

What I liked most was that there was a separate room for pedicures and manicure/​nail services. Being a new place everything looks very nice and all the people that work here are polite. Not to mention it is around the corner from my house which is a plus! Mike the guy who did my pedicure and manicure with shellac did a wonderful job. I would recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.
I will be trying their milk and honey scrub and a facial when I do I will make sure to report on that!
