New family businesses are always something that catches my eye, and Moore’s did just that. Meat markets are very rare now a days and when you stumble across one it’s a blessing. Moore’s definitely filled the void in El Sobrante for the need of a meat market, they know what they’re doing and they’re damn good at it. I ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich with a side of their famous BBQ sauce and it was mouth watering. The turkey was well smoked and there was a whole lot of it as well. The man behind the counter, Isaiah, whom I presume owns the shop is a real stand-up guy, he believes in what he does and pays very close attention to the food is handling. If you’re having a BBQ or just looking for a great steak for dinner, look no further than Moore’s, independent businesses like these need more support from the community. Let’s get the ball rolling.
