This store does not care about its handycaped customers! The STOREMANAGER will not keep the handycaped scooters working. Most of the time they won’t make it from the front to the back and then to the front again. He promises to fix them when you talk to him but that is nothing more than a lie. It’s been this way for about 5 years. I can’t wait for HEB to open.

The lady called Shanique at customer service should be fired!!! She is the rudest, non smiling, bad attitude customer service person I have ever experienced. How can you place someone like her in customer service to represent your company. After being so rude and won’t help in what ever way. I told her I will report her to her manager she said do you want me to call him for you, i was like no, you don’t have to, I will call corporate on you and she said do you need my last name so you can tell them who I am… No remorse what so ever. Wow!!! Horrible experience. Hopefully they can put better people that seriously care about their job and the company they represent at customer service.

PRODUCE is absolutely terrible! Your sale items aren’t even on display or ya’ll forgot to order them. This is unfortunate and an inconvenience. This Kroger needs to reread their mission statement or revise it to be reflective of the subpar chain they have become. Disgusting. Having mold on your produce is a health risk. This establish should be ashamed of themselves.

I love this Kroger great customer service always stocked with the items my family needs at competitive prices. I absolutely love the Kroger plus cards and the huge savings I see right on the receipt and discounted gas. I love the organic and simple truth selections however on the down side I have noticed some of the produce is spoiled or molded on several occasion I have seen moldy grape fruits, strawberries, and spinach etc on both organic and non organic sides. But if you alert someone they will quickly remove it and try to get a better selection out.

I’m surprised how many positive reviews this place has received regarding customer service. I feel as though this place has some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced at a supermarket. I tend to typically go at night time, so maybe it’s just the staff who work evenings, but most of the employees seem to be incompetent, unmotivated teenagers. If I need help with something, I normally have to ask several people as the fist person often tells me to go ask someone else. Why don’t you figure it out? Also, if I’m standing at one of the prepared food areas, and the employee responsible for the prepared food happens to be behind one of the other counters playing with his phone, he should take the initiative and ask if I need help. I shouldn’t have to go track him down and get his attention. Most of the time there are no other customers, so I know he’s not busy. Finally, there is one woman who works the prepared food area. Every time I order from her it seems I am causing a huge inconvenience for her. I always thank her, and not once has she ever responded with a «you’re welcome» or «thank you.»

Ok so this is tough one: excellent customer service but the produce wasn’t the best quality, let me explain… The other day I ran in to grab some dried peppers to spice up some tamales the family was making. The overall cleanliness of the store was exceptional. However, when I went to grab the peppers I noticed(not a technical name obviously) what I call«fluffy mold» on some of the peppers.(I have my own unique names for molds from my college days). The mold only appeared on a few peppers and I was still able to pick a couple of good ones for the recipes. BUT: Earlier today I ran in to grab a turkey and was in big hurry. I went straight to the self check out since the lanes were full. As I was about to finish the transaction with my pin, an associate(Tara) stopped me to ask if I had a Kroger card. Yes I know this is pretty normal, if not required, but she made an effort to really help me out. I explained I was from out of town and that my parents probably had one. She scan her own card, dropping the price from $ 27 to $ 13. It was the way she handled herself: extremely friendly, personable– enough for me to remember her name. We all have those unexpected great customer services that we remember and this was one of them. Overall an easy 5 stars for the variety of products(home furniture, cookware, produce, etc) but had to knock one out for the fluffy mold incident.

This place is awful. Not as bad as the disgusting Randall’s that sells old meat, but it’s getting there. I found moldy soy burgers in the«health» section by the flowers. No one ever asks you if you need help when your in the store. The produce is shameful considering the quality of HEB5 min down the road and don’t even get me started about the people who check you out… Some girl thought it was ok to talk back to me because I thought I would mention how much the mangos were so she didn’t have to look it up. Well I guess I learned my lesson. Just don’t go here. They really rip you off and display items 5/$ 5 but when you check out it ends up being more sometimes, so be careful that they aren’t stealing your hard earned money.

Service is still horrible being mostly high school kids who don’t really care about their job, but the meat department is starting to carry USDA Prime more regularly now.

This Kroger has the best selection of groceries on the area. The fresh and ready to serve section is the best. It’s better than Randall’s in New Territory

This is a great Kroger. Just a tip: if you have an iPod or iPhone download there mobile app before you go and set up your acct online with your Kroger card. they have free wifi in the store, and you can load and view the list of ecoupons you have already loaded on your Kroger card while standing in the store. No more flipping through coupons or printing a list of coupons. AWESOME! Plus they give lots of free samples in the produce, cheese and bakery departments… my three year old loves to go to the store with me!

And yes, this is the best in the area by far. Incredible selection of everything. Darn near like a theme park without the lines.

Yes, I’m writing a review of a Kroger. But this is a fantastic Kroger Marketplace! I live nearby and I remember driving by a big open lot for almost 2 years wondering, «When the heck is this place gonna open?!» If you live in this part of the Richmond area, you’d know that for the last 5 years or so there was absolutely NOTHING out here. The nearest grocery store was an overpriced Randall’s and next to that the next nearest was 15 – 20 minutes away. Oh, but when it opened, you realize just how great this grocery store is. The produce is always fresh with a great selection. Meat and seafood sections are also in good variety. The store is always clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I love how it kinda feels like a Kroger/HEB/Central Market hybrid. They also do have a good organic food section, even frozen food. I LOVE the wine selection as well as the beer selection(I love the pick 6 packs where you can mix and match different beers/ciders for $ 7.99). And if that isn’t enough, they sell furniture, yes, furniture, here. Granted it’s not a huge huge selection, but it’s reminiscent of a mini-Target or Wal-mart. Good job, Richmond, on putting this Kroger Marketplace up. Let’s see how the rest of the boonies grows…
