History

Established in 2011.

The owner of Jonroc, Benjamin, started his professional career in a family run business that rents equipment for parties and events. Ben started from the ground floor in his family’s party rental business; which was literally washing dishes. In the process of working his way up to the position of GM in his late 20’s he learned all the principles and disciplines needed to run a small business with over 35 employees and staff.

In the process of taking over the day to day operations from his father Ben found out that a local web design company was more or less taking advantage of the company and overcharging for website design and online marketing services. Young and ambitious, Ben made a proposal to his father to create and manage the company’s website and online marketing himself. Little did he know that this would be the catalyst for the creation of Jonroc 2 years later.

After 15 years in the family business he found that his strongest passion in business development and management

Business Owner

Growing up in family owned business have been the catalyst for my interest in business ownership and management. I spent all my summers working for our family company starting at the lowest position which literally happened to be dish washing. After college I got married and worked full time for 12 years for our family business learning the ropes of business management first hand.

My real world expertise in business management and website design/​management is, in part, what makes Jonroc as successful website design, development and online advertising firm. I’m able to bridge the gap between the technical parts of website development and the practical aspects of running a business.
